After a great day in the Mountains, staying in our modern holiday home will allow you to focus on hassle-free, quality times with your friends and family. The property prioritises convenience and facilities for all ages. SmartTVs, super fast Wi-Fi, BBQ, a firepit, a fully equipped kitchen and dining areas, comfy group or cosy private rooms, all with ducted heating and air-conditioning. Our single level property features great accessibility with a ramped entrance and covered parking. The space Our self-managed holiday home is a modern, compact five-bedroom property consisting of a spacious master bedroom, four bedrooms and two bathrooms. For maximum comfort, the home is ideally suited for 6-8 people, but can accommodate up to 10 through sharing queen sized beds. Those unfamilar with the area can rest comfortably knowing it's located in village of Leura, arguably one of the prettiest and safest suburbs in the Blue Mountains. Property Detail: Bedrooms and configuration: Bedroom #1/Master Bedroom: Largest bedroom with Queen sized bed, 55” SmartTV, leather seat, dressing table. Bedroom #2: Generous sized room with Queen sized bed with lush green garden view. Bedroom #3: 2 x King Single sized beds. Bedroom #4: Queen sized bed with lush green garden view. Bedroom #5: Queen sized bed. In each bedroom, a combination of under bed storage drawers, compact corner units and luggage racks provide storage for your clothes and belongings. All rooms have bedside lamps with USB charging sockets as well as privacy locks. Bedrooms #2-5 have customisable lighting. All-seasons quilts and linen are provided based on number of guests booking. During winter months, we ensure you remain toasty-warm with extra covers and electric blankets. Kitchen/Dining Area: this area is a single, convenient room; refer also to the floor plan. Preparing Western or Asian meals is easy using induction cooking and an electric grill/oven in the well-equipped kitchen. Cookware and a set of basic cookery condiments are included to ensure full meals can be prepared. Modern appliances include: a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, sandwich press and Nespresso coffee machine (that uses original style pods). Asian kitchen equipment includes a rice cooker, steamer and multifunction cooker and a wok. There is plenty of cutlery, crockery and glassware. The indoor dining table seats up to 8 guests. There is seating for a further 2 people at the kitchen bench seated at adjustable bar stools. Lounge: relax and enjoy yourself in the lounge; sink into comfy leather sofas, an ottoman and floor cushions. A 65” SmartTV provides free-to-air TV, high speed fibre internet streaming or a display for your gaming console. Seated around the coffee table, a selection of board games means classic fun for all. Bathrooms: there are two bathrooms. Both have tiled floors, shower, sink. mirror and heated towel rails. Shampoo, conditioner and soap are included. Bath towels are provided based on number of guests booking in addition to face washers. Please note the bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible. Back garden: a covered patio provides outdoor seating/dining for 8. Next to the patio is an easy to use five burner gas BBQ as well as extra stools for larger groups. The tiered garden includes a 9 square metre area with a 70cm firepit (bring your own firewood); gaze into those flames and roast some marshmallows with your besties! Use of the firepit strictly follows Fire Danger Ratings of the NSW Rural Fire Service. There will be "total fire ban" days, particularly in warmer months, when the firepit cannot be used (don’t worry…we will advise). Laundry: for longer stays, a large washing machine and dryer is located in second bathroom. There is also a large clothes line in the garden. You will find essentials/consumables in the accommodation, including coffee pods and basic cooking condiments. Should you run out of these items and/or need groceries and beverages, nearby there are a Woolworths Metro Supermarket/BWS bottle shop (3 minutes’ drive) and a BP Petrol Service Station (5 minutes’ drive). The tariff is based on 2 guests (adults or children). If more than 2 are staying, please enter the correct number to see the corresponding tariff. We routinely lock bedrooms for smaller booked parties. There is a maximum of 10 guests. Long weekends are a minimum 3-night stay. Easter is a minimum 4-night stay. We genuinely want your stay to be a great one with no disappointments! Our goals are to provide clarity and detail - it's also why we include floor plans - with responsive and friendly host communication. :) Guest access Reaching our place by car, we're 2 minutes from the A32 Great Western Highway. When you arrive, there's covered, on-premise parking for 2 cars under the carport and a further car on the driveway. Without a car, you can still easily access and enjoy our property as well as the surrounding areas. Both Leura Train Station and the nearest Blue Mountains Explorer Bus stop (#33) are a gentle, 15-minute walk away via the Railway Parade. The property is a 2 minute drive to Leura Mall's many shopping boutiques and cafes. We're also a convenient halfway point on the Grand Cliff Top Walk; that's just 30 minutes walk to/from the house. Leura Golf Club is a 4-minute drive to the other end of our road. As you'll find in the books at the property (including the superb #LOSTMTNS guidebooks), we've highlighted and annotated activities that are nearest to the property, together with a few favourites that are wider afield. If you haven't visited the Mountains before, finding something to do will be so easy. Other things to note We are sorry, but no pets are permitted on the premises. Note we charge on a per guest, per night basis. Please ensure your booking includes the number of guests to obtain the correct tariff. As highlighted elsewhere, 6 people staying makes for a super comfortable stay, but we can accommodate up to 10. We're strict on numbers of guests, so if it changes, please update us.
