Enjoy the serene waterfront setting of this cabin with few neighbors, and just minutes off I-5 and 45 minutes from Portland Airport! Remodeled fully-equipped kitchen, large dining tables inside and out. Tons of natural light, gorgeous, restored hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings with exposed beams and stone fireplace in main room. Amazing river views from every room. French doors open to the wrap-around deck with private view of the Kalama River. Native plants abound! Fish, swim & relax! The space Private access to the world-renowned Kalama River running from Mt St Helens to the Columbia. Day trips to Mount St. Helens, Mt Hood, ocean beaches in Oregon or Washington, Magnificent Columbia River Gorge; 15 minutes to Ilani Casino, and 35 minutes to Portland, OR. Guest access You’ll have access to the entire cabin including the river that flows by for fishing, kayaking, tubing or your river adventuring plus expansive deck for grilling and hanging out; and, firepit area overlooking the river for s’mores and other nighttime fun. Please note there are several stairs to navigate down from the parking area to the cabin, deck, and water. Please understand the location is a bit rustic - a rural property in the forest. There’s uneven ground and other dangerous conditions on the property including the river itself, of course. We expect our guests to behave accordingly respecting the area and all of the inherent dangers when interacting with nature. It goes without saying though that we don’t know your experience and abilities related to the use of the river so please be aware of and stay within your limitations around the water. Experiencing the property and the river is done at your own risk including indemnifying and holding the host harmless against your own acts of negligence or recklessness. Please also note that the river conditions change with the weather. PLEASE NOTE: The cabin was built in the 1940’s and needs to be treated with care - THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE! Damage, excessive trash, or mess will be reported to Airbnb and affect the viability of your profile. Other things to note Please note there is no cell service at the cabin. There is WiFi access (including on the deck outside) or cell service if you drive down the road a bit. However, you may want to jot down any details you may need for entry before arriving - door codes, etc.
