The Alpilles suite is located on the third and top floor of Maison Arborescens. This large building where I paint, draw and where I also live is representative of the "Maisons de Maître" typical of Provençal villages. On the street side, a large porch welcomes you, on the plain side, a large garden with pool awaits you. To reach your suite perched under the roofs, you will take the central staircase with remarkable volumes and bathed in the sun of Provence. The space The Alpilles Suite will offer you a panoramic view of the Durance plain and Sainte Victoire mountain and the north side of the ruins of Cadenet Castle. Spacious (about 50 m2) and tastefully furnished, the suite is decorated with your host's original works. The original materials (tiles, woodwork, glassware) have been preserved, giving it an authentic character. Its charming and comfortable living room under the roofs with a wide dining area, its pretty little kitchen overlooking the Alpilles and its two bright bedrooms, one of which offers a wide dressing room will be the ideal perched nest for your stay in the Luberon. Please note that bed linen, towels and kitchen linen are provided. Also note that, as the Maison Arborescens is a village house, you will hear the sounds of village life. But since your comfort is my priority, since March 2026, the bedrooms have had soundproof windows. 😴 Guest access Private parking spaces: Upon advance request, you can book a private, covered and secure garage (automatic roller shutter) for free to park your vehicle for the duration of your stay. The garage is a 4-minute walk from the house. You can also park your bike (maximum 4 bikes) in the secure garage located on the ground floor of the house. Shared outdoor areas: If you want to cool off, you'll have free access to the garden and outdoor pool from 8am to 9pm. You can rest, swim and even share an aperitif or a meal, as long as the calm of the place is respected. Shared laundry area: From a one-week stay and upon advance request, you will be able to benefit from occasional access to the laundry room and the use of the house's own washing machines and dryers. Public laundry access: You will find a self-service laundromat located in the heart of the village, a 3-minute walk from the house. Workshop/Expo Space: If you are interested in drawing and painting, I will be happy to invite you to visit my studio-exhibition space located in the entrance hall and the old dining room of the house. And who knows, maybe you'd like to be introduced to artistic creation? Other things to note For your convenience, I offer breakfast baskets that you can choose to enjoy in your suite or in the garden. These include a hot drink, juice, bread, 3 mini-pastries, jams, honey, butter for an additional fee of 8 euros/person (to be paid at the end of the stay). Dear travelers, please note that Maison Arborescens offers both strictly private spaces (your Alpilles suite) where you enjoy the privacy you need and shared spaces (the garden, the entrance hall, the staircase, etc.) where you will have the opportunity to make beautiful and pleasant encounters. Remember that out of respect for the house's structure, there is no elevator and only the stairs will take you from the garden to your suite and from your suite to the garden!
