Nestled within the prestigious gates of Indian Palms Country Club, our combined 4-bedroom property, including the main house and attached casita, offers an ideal getaway for families, golf enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a relaxing retreat. The property comfortably sleeps 12 guests, blending luxury with convenience, making it perfect for both short vacations and extended stays. Inside Your Stay ~Bedrooms: The primary suite in the main house features a plush king-sized bed and a twin rollaway. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a twin pullout, while the third bedroom features a queen bed. The casita offers a queen bed and full bathroom, kitchenette and separate laundry facilities. Additional sleeping space is available in the living room with a sleeper sofa, and a pack and play is ready for your younger guests. ~Bathrooms: Two well-appointed bathrooms in the main house and one in the casita ensure comfort and privacy for all guests. Each bathroom features a bathtub, shower, and all the necessary amenities. ~Kitchen: Fully stocked and equipped with brand new appliances, including a Keurig coffee machine and complimentary coffee. ~Living Spaces: Each room is equipped with a TV, and high-speed internet access is available throughout. The main house also features a new washer/dryer set. Outdoor Living ~Dive into relaxation with our newly installed pool (April 2023) in the backyard of the main house. Pool heating is available for an additional fee. The community offers three additional pools, a 27-hole golf course, tennis and pickleball courts, and a gym—all included during your stay. Extra Features ~Electric car owners will appreciate the 220-volt outlet available for an additional cost. ~Casita: The attached casita offers a kitchenette and separate amenities, providing a perfect spot for those seeking a more private experience. This city is known for its annual festivals, particularly the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and the Stagecoach Festival, both of which are held at the nearby Empire Polo Club, our home is just 1.4 miles away, with the perfect location for festival goers. The Indian Palms Country Club itself, where your property is located, is a gated community that offers a plethora of amenities. The community boasts a 27-hole golf course, multiple swimming pools, tennis and pickleball courts, and a fitness center, providing guests with plenty of activities right at their doorstep. The country club also includes a restaurant and bar, offering convenient dining options within the gated community. The surrounding area of Indio is rich in culture and history, with numerous local attractions such as the Coachella Valley History Museum, the Indio Performing Arts Center, and the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino which offers concerts, dining, and gaming. For outdoor enthusiasts, the proximity to places like the Joshua Tree National Park, which is about an hour's drive away, offers opportunities for hiking, rock climbing, and exploring the stunning desert landscape. In Indio, like many suburban and rural areas, the most common mode of transportation is by car. Given its spread-out nature and the presence of various attractions and amenities at some distance from each other, having a car is the most convenient way to navigate the area efficiently. Here’s a look at the various transportation options available: Driving: With ample parking and well-maintained roads, driving is the easiest way to get around Indio and the surrounding Coachella Valley. For those renting our property, we offer parking in the driveway and one spot in the garage, making it convenient for guests traveling with vehicles. Ridesharing: Services like Uber and Lyft are available in Indio, providing a flexible transportation option for those who do not wish to drive. This can be particularly handy during festival seasons when parking near major venues can be challenging. Public Transportation: SunLine Transit Agency operates the public bus service in Indio and the greater Coachella Valley. It offers routes connecting Indio to other cities in the valley, including Palm Springs, Palm Desert, and Cathedral City. This service is useful for guests who might not have access to a car and need to visit neighboring towns. Bicycling: For those interested in more eco-friendly transportation, biking can be a pleasant way to explore Indio, especially during the cooler months. Some areas have bike lanes, although the city is not extensively covered with bike-friendly infrastructure. Walking: While Indio has some walkable areas, especially around specific communities like Indian Palms Country Club where our property is located, walking as a primary mode of transportation is less common due to the distances between major amenities and attractions. However, Jackson Street, just half a block away, offers a shopping center with a Walmart grocery, McDonald's, Starbucks, and Subway, providing convenient access to essential shopping and dining. Additionally, the area boasts three casinos within a 15-20 minute drive and the Polo fields are conveniently located across the street off Monroe St. For a more extensive dining and shopping experience, guests can use Highway 111, which is lined with a variety of options. • Incase you were interested in a smaller version of the home, on occasion we rent out the main home and casita separately. We will need to collect all guests names and license plate numbers for easy access into and out of the community. Max of 3 cars. • Our pool cleaner comes every Monday and Thursday morning to maintain the pool, he will come and go through the side gate and should also not bother you throughout your stay. If the pool needs extra attention or you would prefer not to be bothered please let us know ahead of time. • Access to the pickleball/ tennis courts, and gym at the lifestyle center is managed through our HOA. If you wish to use it, we will send you a form to complete. Please note there is only allowed a maximum or 4 guests at a time for the gym and courts. • To access the public pools, you can request a temporary pool pass from the Lifestyle Center and pay $10. Upon checking out or when done using the pool, please return your temporary pass and you will receive your $10 back. • Trash is taken every Monday morning. • Our HOA is responsible for maintaining the front of our yard, if staying mid week- they could be working on the front garden but will not bother you throughout your stay. Pool heater • The pool requires a lot of natural gas to heat, so using this will incur a daily fee of $75 (Plus Tax). This will be billed prior to your arrival if you request it. Pet friendly • We are pet friendly at a fee of $100 per pet, per stay. • Cleaning up after your pet is your responsibility. No pets are to be left unattended in the home. Barking dogs often result in neighbor complaints. **Extra pet fees will be added though our guest portal after booking is confirmed (Plus Tax). Please let us know if you are traveling with a pet.
