The cottage accommodates 4 guests and is located on a quiet street, only a stones throw away from the famous Bridge Tea Rooms! Guests can explore historic buildings, little alleys filled with local shops and country pubs. With nature walks and only 5 miles from Bath - it’s a perfect location all year round The space The pretty Roman town of Bradford-on-Avon is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty situated on the edge of the Cotswolds. The cottage is a wonderful base to explore the surrounding chocolate box villages, market towns, Stone Henge, the Roman Spa city of Bath, neighbouring counties of Somerset, Gloucester and Oxfordshire, with nearby bus and trains to Bath, Bristol, Oxford and London. The town has wonderful shopping, restaurants and cafes, the Avon canal and amazing local history and is host to lots of annual festivals. Canoeing, stand-up paddle boarding, cycling, and golf are just a few activities right on the doorstep. A short walk to the train station, the cottage is perfect all year round for holidaying, sightseeing, Christmas markets, travelling into Bath and business trips. Free onsite parking available for two vehicles. Ground Floor - Living room, kitchen and breakfast bar, dining room, dedicated study space, access to a garden room overlooking the river which leads on to a private outdoor patio with bistro table, a viewing deck with garden bench so guests can enjoy watching the wildlife along the river. There is also a private courtyard for relaxing and dining. Second Floor - Bedroom 1 (King bed) - Bedroom 2 (Single twin beds). *Please read ‘Other Details to Note’ when choosing Bedroom 2). Contemporary bathroom with walk-in shower. Guest access Our guests have full access to the whole cottage, including three outdoor seating / dining areas that provide full view of the River Avon. Other things to note Please Note: Being situated on the river bank, the house may not be suitable for children, particularly under the age of 12. Parental guidance is therefore recommended. Prices: To be fair to single travellers, the price per night is for Bedroom 1. Should your party require the usage of two guest bedrooms, please kindly add ‘extra person’ per night and input required number of occupants as either 3 or 4 (for one or two guests using Bedroom 2). This ensures we prepare both bedrooms to meet your needs. Nominal charges applicable. Side Note: The single beds can be made into a king for two guests staying in the twin room upon request.
