In May 2024, we renovated the toilet, sink, shower room, and all rooms. Guest House Kurumi is 350 m from Otaru Station, has a parking lot (for 4 cars), and is a 3-minute walk to popular tourist destinations.Parking is 1,000 yen per night. You can walk to shops and restaurants, local markets, onsen, Japanese traditional public baths, convenience stores, etc. within about 5 minutes on foot. We introduce paid activities that allow foreign travelers to experience Japanese culture, such as tea ceremony, calligraphy, yukata dressing, and glasswork. There are sometimes welcome drinks (Matcha green tea) as part of the hospitality. The space In May 2024, the guest room, Japanese-style room, main room, toilet, shower room, and sink were renovated. Room 1 (Sakura): Japanese-style room (Japanese-style futon) with kitchen and dining room, fully equipped with fridge, microwave, induction cooker, electric pot, and table. This room is suitable for families and long stays. Room 2 (Suzuran): 2 single beds (with Emasleep mattresses) Room 3 (Hamanasu): 1 full sized bed (with a comfortable living room mattress), 1 twin sized bed (with a Mujirushi Ryohin mattress) Room 4 (Katakuri): 2 single beds (with Emasleep mattresses) Common space: fully equipped with full kitchen, fridge, microwave, induction cooker, electric pot, and table. On the accommodation floor, there is a shared toilet with a bidet, shower room, sink, and a washing machine with a dryer. There is a hair dryer. On the ground floor, there is a main room and Japanese-style room where guests can interact with each other. Parking is 1,000 yen per night. Guest access The kitchen, bathroom, and staff room on the first floor are not available for use. During your stay The host is at the guest house in case guests need support during their stay. In case of emergency, please contact us by mobile phone or email. Other things to note Meals are not provided at the guest house. There are Otaru markets and various restaurants nearby. You can cook for yourself with fresh Otaru ingredients in the full kitchen. All areas of the guest house are non-smoking. Drinking in common areas is not allowed. Please drink in your room. Check-in time is between 3 pm and 8 pm. Check-out time is between 7 am and 10 am. Please consult us in advance if you will be arriving after hours. If you are a foreign national, we will copy your passport at check-in. This is a facility for bright, fun, and comfortable interaction with guests. Your understanding and cooperation are appreciated.
