The Clay Space

The Clay Space is a studio apartment that was once used as an Art Studio. It is located behind Taos Clay in an urban area in El Prado along the main highway, 5 minutes North of the Taos Plaza. Easy access to the River and The Taos Ski Valley, the Gorge Bridge and hiking. Ever been to Orlando's New Mexican Cafe? This space is just a few buildings North on the same side of the road. The Taos Clay building in front has renovation going on - the Rio Lucero Farm Store will be here in summer of 2026. The space This is a studio apartment. There are linen curtains that separate the living room from the bedroom. There is a full kitchen with a counter and stools. Guest access This apartment has its own parking spot. This is mostly a driving area though some ride bikes and walk. There are no sidewalks, though there is a shoulder on the road to walk on. There is also a dirt road that goes into residential neighborhood behind the apartment where one could take walk. Other things to note This is a great location for exploring Taos. If you show up with an undisclosed animal you will be charged $500.
