The space Discover our stylish and quiet 1-room apartment in Holzschlag near Bonndorf, which is perfect for a relaxing stay for two. On 28 square meters, our modern furnished apartment in the ecologically timber-framed house newly built in 2023 offers everything you need for a comfortable vacation. Our apartment offers you a cozy living area, a double bed (1.40 x 2 m) and a fully equipped kitchen with a small dining area. The modern bathroom completes the offer. We provide a baby crib on request free of charge. It is also possible on request to arrive with a third person, who can then sleep on the pull-out sofa bed (attention: no separate room; size when pulled out about 90 x 200 cm). The terrace offers the opportunity to sit comfortably outside, have breakfast in the sun and enjoy the view towards the Wutach Gorge. In the evening it is pleasantly shady and cool on the terrace in summer. Although our apartment is located in a small village in the southern Black Forest with only 130 inhabitants, we have a lot to offer: directly opposite is the Gasthaus Krone with a Black Forest restaurant, where you can indulge in a mixture of traditional and modern cuisine. From spring to autumn, the Gasthaus Krone also opens its self-service kiosk on the Bähnleradweg if the inn is closed or there are no tables available. A few meters further across the main road is the Schwarzwaldhof Nicklas, where there is also good food. For both restaurants, we recommend a table reservation prior to arrival. A beautifully designed bee educational trail leads through the village of Holzschlag, which begins directly opposite the apartment on the village square. This leads past the Herb schnapps distillery with direct sales. There is the possibility of a distillery tour on request. Also in the village square, there is a brand new playground. In Glashütte, another district of Bonndorf, is the small Kalchreuther Natural History Museum, which is always open on the first Saturday of each month. Individual guided tours are possible on request. Our apartment is the perfect base for nature and active vacationers. The Wutach Gorge, a true paradise for hikers, is only a few steps away. Likewise, the Bähnle bike path passes right outside the front door. With the KONUS guest card, you can use public transport for free and thus explore the sights in the area comfortably and in an environmentally friendly manner. These include the Schluchsee, the Titisee and the Feldberg. Other attractive destinations nearby are St. Blasien, Freiburg and Schaffhausen. The Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen are only 45 minutes away by car. Zurich Airport can be reached in about 1 hour drive. In bad weather, you can treat yourself to a few hours of rest and relaxation in the nearby swimming paradise (approx. 25 minutes by car). We are happy to give you specific tips for cycling, hiking and motorcycle routes on site. Just ask. Guest access The entire apartment is available for your exclusive use. Other things to note There is a tourist tax of €1.10 per person per night. This is billed on site upon arrival. Unfortunately, due to the increased cleaning effort and with regard to subsequent guests, we are unable to welcome pets.
