The Cozy Cottage is an updated seasonal home located on a quiet dead-end street. Sit on the porch or in the yard and enjoy the cool ocean breeze. The cottage is located just steps from Long Sands Beach! An easy short walk to restaurants, the Long Sands General Store, ice cream and more on Long Beach Ave. A ten minute walk to downtown York Beach which is full of shops, restaurants, brewery, arcade and a zoo. Mini split air conditioning and heat have been added in the kitchen and living room. The space The Cozy Cottage is an updated home that is approximately 1,000 square feet. The Cottage consists of 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, and an outdoor shower. Private backyard with picnic table and grill. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan and window fans are available, but we have never needed them. There is always a cool ocean breeze. At night you can hear the waves breaking on the beach from the front porch or your bed. A mini split with both heat and air conditioning have been added in the living room area. Guest access keypad entry allows for easy check in and check out. The driveway will allow for parking of three vehicles if larger SUVs or possibly four smaller vehicles. Other things to note two beach chairs and a beach wagon are left at the property and available for guest use. The homeowner will not refill the propane tank on the grill mid week, but will make accommodations with the renter. The yard is professionally maintained by a local landscape company. The grass is typically cut on Wednesday (weather dependent) at approximately 10:00 AM.
