'The Nest' near Arundel

Wake up in the beautiful South Downs National Park, with a wonderful view from every window. The Nest is a self-contained, well-equipped apartment on two levels, adjoining the main house, with its own entrance. It looks onto a shared garden and shared pool (summer only). Arundel, with its castle and cathedral, is a 45 min walk away. Access to the many South Downs footpaths is a 5 min walk away. By car, you're 5 mins from Arundel, 15 mins from the sea and 20 mins from Goodwood or Chichester. The space Downstairs you will find a living area (15.75 sq m) with a table for 2, 2 large armchairs, TV and a well equipped kitchen area with induction hob, fridge and combination microwave/oven. Upstairs there is a spacious bedroom (14.8 sq m) with a king size bed and premium bedding, together with a separate bathroom with shower (4.4 sq m). Every downstairs window looks out onto the garden, every upstairs window offers a view of the surrounding fields. When you look out of the bedroom window you may see horses, pheasant, rabbits and even deer. Outside the front door there is a patio with a table and chairs. In the garden there is a small swimming pool, open to guests in the summer months when not being used by the hosts. It's not for length swimming (it takes 3 strokes to cross from one side to the other!), but it's great for cooling down, and for swimming round and round in circles. The apartment is attached to the main house, but is only accessible by its own porch and front door. There is no mobile signal at the property, but we have ultra fast broadband so you can set your phone to wi-fi calling. Guest access We will aim to be there to greet you on arrival. If we're not there we will leave the keys, by arrangement, in the KeySafe with detailed instructions in the apartment. Guests will have sole use of the apartment, however the garden and pool are shared. They will also have use of the table and chairs on the patio, and the small swimming pool (in the summer months) when not being used by the hosts. Guests can either park in the driveway or in the lay-by just outside the gate (very safe). Other things to note Please see house rules re pets if you are thinking of bringing a dog.
