Explore local walking tracks along the lake foreshore, unwind with a fishing rod, or delight in artiste and photography. Keep an eye out for birdlife, as this area is known for its biodiversity, or just relax in the sun with a good book. The space The property has water access suitable for your kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards, while a boat ramp is only a 5 minute drive. ‘Annex by the Lake’ is only 90 minutes north of Sydney CBD, and 35 minutes from Newcastle, Hunter Valley and Central Coast. There is ample parking onsite. Complimentary transfers are available to/from Morisset railway station for guest without vehicles. ALSO ….. The comfortable air-conditioned annex is spread over two levels. The ground level features a casual lounge/dining area, well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, workspace, bathroom with under tile heating, and cozy daybed which converts to the 5th person bed. The upper level boasts timber flooring, inviting open plan spacious room with one king bed and two king-single beds, space to chill-out or children to play. An additional toilet is conveniently located upstairs. Enjoy a morning coffee with water views and copious birdlife, sip on evening cocktails watching amazing sunsets, cook up a BBQ meal on the outside entertaining area. There is plenty of grass area to kick a ball or fly a kite, enjoy a fire pit and use the boat motor wash-down area. The Hosts live on the property and are available to assist you, if required. Otherwise they respect your privacy !!! Conditions of Booking: Please note that we do not facilitate parties, schoolies, or events of any kind. Booking is for up-to 5 people, please discuss any specific requirements with the Host BEFORE booking. eg day visitors, grocery pre-delivery, less mobile guest assistance, additional children using single mattress on floor, etc. Check-in is between 3.00pm - 10.00pm, while check-out is by 11.00 am. If you need some flexibility, let us know in advance and we'll do our best to accommodate. Guests with children are very welcome.
