Welcome to Annie's Horse wagon a Quirky Dog Friendly Glamping experience for 2 with its own Log fired Hot tub, parked in its own private fenced area of our meadow on our 40acre smallholding. Located on the outskirts of Ravensworth, North Yorkshire, the local pub The Bay Horse is just a 10minute walk and Mainsgill one of the largest Farm Shops in North is a 20minute walk. Market Towns :Richmond (North Yorkshire) & Barnard Castle (Co.Durham) are both under a 15minute drive. The space Annie is a converted Horse Wagon, the accommodation consists of a separate bedroom with a built in bed and all linen provided, a private bathroom which has a shower, flushing toilet and sink (towels all provided) and a kitchen/living area which contains a mini oven/hob, fridge, sink, breakfast bar, two lounge chairs and TV. Outside there is a balcony area with Table and Chairs, and a lower deck which is an area to enjoy the 2 seater Log Burning Hot tub. Please note the original steps into the Horse wagon are still in use and these are quite steep, along with another access to the back of the Horse wagon via the balcony consisting of 3 wooden steps again quite steep to get up to the height of the vehicle. Annie is set in a secluded, private area of one of our grass meadows with no neighbouring guests. *Please note to ensure we create minimal light pollution external lighting is kept to a minimum** Guest access A gravel track leads right to the door of the Horsewagon with ample space to park anything up to a large camper van. This space is also fenced for security and privacy. Other things to note Our Log Burner Hot Tub Unlike an electric jacuzzi, this rustic tub has no noisy pumps or bubbles, just pure peace and natural heat. As the logs burn, the water gently warms to the perfect temperature, filling the air with the comforting scent of wood smoke. We’re a working smallholding, surrounded by arable and livestock farmland. At times you may notice farm machinery in the fields, along with the sounds and scents of animals—but it’s all part of the authentic charm of the countryside.
