The Barn Flinders is located among rolling hills on a large working farm. The property offers an opportunity to reconnect with nature. Inside, enjoy the newly renovated spaces complete with rustic and comfortable furnishings. The space offers 2-bedrooms/2 ensuites & powder room, a spacious living/dining/kitchen area & separate laundry. Explore local vineyards & restaurants, visit galleries & fresh produce markets, visit hot springs and beaches, hike scenic trails or play golf. The space BEDROOMS Two spacious bedrooms feature king beds that can be split into 2 generous extra-long single beds on request. All beds offer a very comfortable night’s sleep. The view from the downstairs bedroom window features rolling lawns, fruit trees and an old tennis court. The bespoke bedroom upstairs has a lofted ceiling. ***Please note this room is not recommended for guests over 190cm tall. Also, the stairs are not suited to anyone with mobility issues.*** AIR CONDITIONING A split system helps cool the kitchen/living area. There is a fan in the upstairs bedroom. All rooms have large opening windows and very effective wall- mounted heaters. KITCHEN The kitchen offers quality, modern amenities including a microwave oven, cooktop, small refrigerator/freezer and drinks fridge and plenty of cookware. There is a BBQ on the patio and a firepit for toasting marshmallows! LIVING/DINING ROOM The sitting area features a comfortable Nick Scali leather 3-seater sofa (can convert to a very comfortable queen-sized bed). Seating for another 3 guest allows everyone to enjoy the ambience of the cozy wood fire while relaxing/reading/watching TV. The rustic dining table comfortably seats 6 people. BATHROOM There are 2 spacious & light-filled ensuite bathrooms with shower, vanity & toilet. There is also a separate powder room. LAUNDRY A small separate laundry offers a washing machine, sink and portable drying rack. OUTDOORS Step outside into the house block, surrounded by paddocks containing belted Gallaway cattle and Suffolk sheep. Birdwatch from the outdoor furniture or walk up the driveway to adjoining paddocks where you can see both Bass Strait and Western Port Bay. (Please close gates after entering paddocks for the safety of the animals). The patio offers alfresco dining while you soak in the afternoon sun. Wander through the native garden or admire the view from the firepit. PETS & WILDLIFE Fences on the property are designed for keeping livestock in but may not necessarily keep dogs out. For this reason we do not allow pets on the property. CHILDREN Unfortunately, the dam, fireplace and unguarded stairs make the property unsuitable for crawling babies. PRIVACY We often stay in the building located on the house block. The 2 buildings are separated by walkways and a dense bush. Naturally we will respect your privacy but are happy to provide help and advice as needed. WIFI Free wifi is available - (NBN via WiFI service) is provided and can be used for streaming, messaging, browsing and general use. However, in peak season, WiFi may be compromised. Guest access The property is located well off the main road. The driveway continues for over half a kilometre and is shared by the owners if they are staying in the main house. Other things to note The house is surrounded by a bush garden to the west and manicured lawns to the east with sun-drenched northern views of rolling hills.
