Blue Bucket B&B

The Blue Bucket B&B is nestled amidst towering spruce, pine & cottonwood. It looks out over a meadow that is frequented by black bears, moose & eagles. Though secluded in trees, surrounded by nature and just a walk down the drive to the Salmon river, you are still close to the beach, pier, local stores, library and local trails. You can bike or walk easily to any of these locations. Our home is very charming, warm, and cozy. We offer free transportation to and from the airport and the ferry. The space The house is completely and comfortably furnished with a living room area that easily accommodates up to 8 people. There is a large and well equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, stove and oven, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, hot water maker, microwave, rice cooker, air fryer and all the pots, pans, dishes, utensils, bowls, etc that you could possibly need! Dining table seats eight. Three bedrooms provide comfortable sleeping for up to eight people. Bedroom #1 is spacious with 2 Queen size beds and a single. There is a full bathroom attached. This bedroom has windows that view the forested side of the house. Bedroom #2 has 1 queen size bed and a small table and chairs included in its space. It has a sliding door that accesses the large newly built deck. Attached is a small bathroom that includes toilet, sink and shower (no tub). I call this room the sun room because of its many windows and view of the meadow. Bedroom #3 is a small cozy room off of the kitchen that has 1 queen bed with shelves and closet and a small chair. This room is next to the laundry room (washer and dryer provided)and another full bathroom. There is a large mudroom as you enter the house where you can take off your boots and coats from a great day of hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing, etc. a book shelf provides an opportunity to trade books if you’ve finished yours and are looking for another! You are welcome to play the piano that dwells in the room by the Sun room! The house is beautifully crafted by a master builder. Although it has many rooms, it has the cozy feel of a cabin in the woods! The house sits on 3 acres next to the Salmon River. All bedding and towels are supplied, with extra blankets for chilly nights. You also have access to bicycles and a large yard with a fire pit. The deck is off of the living room and there is a Bar BQ available for your use. WIFI is included Guest access Guests will be able to access the entire house and yard. Other things to note Although the house can accommodate up to 6 people, you don’t have to be a party of 6! Please read house rules for further information.
