Le Vintage Cottage – Normandy, Switzerland

The Vintage Cottage is a cottage with a terrace, typical Normandy in the middle of a wooded, quiet and peaceful setting, all completely private. Measuring 30 m², the interior consists of a charming and bright living room with a small kitchen and a sofa bed, a bathroom, a separate toilet, and a bedroom on a mezzanine with a sloping ceiling. The terrace offers a beautiful view of the garden where you can lounge. Welcome to the '60s/70s/80s/90s ! The space The Vintage Cottage has everything you need for your stay and to make yourself at home with a 70s touch! Located in the region of Swiss Normandy, Nord Orne, bordering Calvados, it is the favorite area for hiking and cycling of all kinds (voted France's favorite GR Tour in 2023). It is located in a hamlet of a small Norman village of 290 inhabitants, where a means of transport is essential to discover the tourist sites in the surrounding area or to get to the local grocery store (5 minutes by car). To make your stay as pleasant as possible, the Vintage Cottage offers a ground floor with a living area that includes the living/dining room, kitchen, BA and toilets. A Japanese-style staircase, fully designed for the space, leads to the attic mezzanine where the bedroom is located (be careful not to stand up too quickly!). - BD ON MEZZANINE: Double bed (140x190), storage space, view of the stars through the skylight! For your information, the BD is an attic room with a height of 1.55 m. - LIVING ROOM - DINING ROOM: CESENA 3-seater sofa bed that provides a double bed (140 x 200 cm), board game area, dining table. - OPEN KITCHEN: Sink, 2-burner ceramic hob, 93L fridge with freezer, percolator coffee machine (works with ground coffee), toaster, dishes. Basic ingredients are provided: salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, coffee, sugar, sponge, dishwashing liquid (plan to buy more if used excessively). - BA: Shower, washing machine and drying rack, sink, towel dryer, hairdryer (laundry detergent, shower gel and shampoo not provided). - Toilet: Storage closet with cleaning set. - TERRACE: Table and chairs, umbrella, deck chairs, wood/charcoal barbecue (charcoal not included, wood can be collected in the adjoining forest at the top of the garden) ==> Bed linens, bath towels, napkins and dish towels are provided. ==> No cleaning fee ==> Presentation binder for the Vintage Cottage and documentation on the area. Ideal for a couple or a single person. Possibility of accommodating up to 4 people thanks to the sofa bed in the living room. Margaux Guest access Parking: possibility to park at the foot of the Vintage Cottage (up to 3 cars) Garden: Nearly 5,000 m² of garden! It is divided between the two listings and shared with the guests of “La Roulotte du Bocage.” The terrace of the Vintage Cottage offers a view of the garden with a sunset. Other things to note 1/ "Breakfast ☕️" option: it consists of homemade products at €8/person and €15 for two people (to be paid on site in cash). It will be delivered in a basket, in front of the door of the Cottage, at the time you want (and according to food allergies/intolerances). Breakfast menu: - Hot drinks of your choice: Tea / Coffee / Whole milk / Chocolate - White / brown sugar - Multigrain bread - Unsalted/salted butter - Homemade jams - Homemade yogurts (whole cow's milk) - Muscovado sugar (which is excellent in yogurt ;)) - ORGANIC muesli with milk chocolate chips - Homemade apple juice 2/ Pets allowed (except dogs that react to cats) 3/ Two accommodation units are available for rent. Each has its own private access and garden.
