The Nook at Yew Tree Cottage

The Nook is a charming light and airy self-contained annexe with views overlooking the garden and swimming pool to the fields and woodland beyond. It’s nestled in the grounds of a quaint grade II listed cottage in the beautiful Sussex countryside equidistant from the Surrey Hills and the Sussex South Downs both within easy reach. The Nook benefits from having a swimming pool with jacuzzi built in at the shallow end. Heated and by arrangement from May to September. The space Beautifully converted, The Nook is a self-contained annexe with it’s own front door. Inside you will be welcomed by high ceilings and oak beams. Natural light floods into the living area with smart TV which opens out onto a vine covered south facing patio area perfect for alfresco lounging and dining. At the other end of the living room is a newly appointed high spec kitchen with coffee machine and a dining area perfect for breakfast and a separate WC and shower room with heated towel rail. Upstairs on the mezzanine level you will find a luxurious king size bed and views out across the fields. Please be aware the ceiling is low in places due to the eaves. The Nook is located within our family garden and opens out onto our swimming pool. You can enjoy privacy from the main house as the garden is split in two by a gated fence to the swimming pool area. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are heated from May to September, weather temperatures permitting. Our guests are welcome to use them in the summer months by arrangement along with the BBQ and patio dining area. All to be used at your own risk. Guest access There is coded electric gate access to secure parking. Access to our family swimming pool with built in jacuzzi in the summer months can be arranged but is used at your own risk. Please bring your own pool towels. Guests are welcome to enjoy the patio area and BBQ. Please leave the BBQ with a clean grill. Guests will have access to local public footpaths that lead onto fields and bridle paths beyond. Please note we also have a very small and friendly Jackapoo who will occasionally be pottering around the garden and will most likely come and say hello. Other things to note We will provide you with bathroom towels in The Nook but please don't use these for the pool or jacuzzi. You will need to bring your own pool towels. The pool and jacuzzi are only heated and available to use by arrangement between May and September.
