The perfect bolthole for 2, Athelas, is a self-catering cottage set within the grounds of our home. Complete with a fully equipped kitchen, private entrance and cosy log burning stove, it's the perfect place to relax. With a stylish and contemporary feel, Athelas boasts every convenience and is an ideal base to explore the stunning beauty of the North Yorkshire Moors and coast. With views over an established garden and valley you can relax and unwind with a glass of wine. The space Athelas is a contemporary and peaceful bolthole in Glaisdale within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Painted in timeless white, the space exudes calm and comfort. From the beautiful fireplace with patterned blue and pink porcelain tiles and local stone hearth to the bright and fresh kitchen with stunning garden views. The kitchen features chic French Gray cabinets complemented by colourful geometric tiles which tone in well with skandi inspired appliances. The kitchen is fully fitted and has everything you need including washer/dryer, dishwasher, hob, oven, microwave and coffee machine. Cutlery, crockery and high quality pots and pans ensure you can easily prepare and serve a delicious meal. The fitted breakfast bar with comfortable, full, tan leather seats provide the perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal or coffee. The king size bed and comfortable mattress should ensure a restful nights sleep. The room is equipped with a sofa and side table so you can relax by the fire and a 43 inch smart flatscreen TV. The property is strewn with art and pictures adding pops of colour and drama throughout. Egyptian cotton bath sheets and handtowels are provided as standard alongside complimentary toiletries. Guests can enjoy the external patio area with views of the garden and also outdoor spaces including the garth, a gated parcel of land set to the front of the property. There is a bench to sit, relax and enjoy the wonderful countryside views. Guest access Athelas is self contained so the entire cottage is private and all areas within are solely guest areas. Additionally on site are Patio seating area adjacent to the driveway. A parcel of land called a 'Garth' accessed through farm gate at front of property which we welcome guests to use.
