Great little place in the 'golden circle' of Mangawhai Heads- one of the original baches in the area. Covered outdoor living area - perfect for BBQ and a relaxing evening. Short 2 minute walk to the estuary via a track at the end of the street, and close to the Mangawhai Heads shops. This is a lovely quiet no-exit street, handy to everything great that Mangawhai has to offer. The two bedroom 'shack' is stylishly furnished in a retro style and has a lovely relaxed vibe about it. The space Main house has two bedrooms, one with King size bed, and one with Queen and single. One bathroom, kitchen and lounge and a great covered outdoor area where guests naturally spend most of their time. The kitchen is well-equipped with dishwasher and microwave. Separate sleepout, beautifully set up with King sized bed, with own bathroom and kitchenette Converted garage is perfect for kids as an activity zone, with its own lounge suite, table tennis table and 65inch smart TV - perfect for days when the weather doesn't play nice. Bedding and towels etc provided. Guest access The main house (sleeps up to 5), separate sleepout ('Captains Quarters' - sleeps 2) and the games room are available to guests Other things to note This place is intended for families and quiet stays. We welcome guests who will respect our house, our belongings and also our neighbours. Please note that during peak season, we charge for maximum capacity (7 people) regardless if less people are staying. When booking during the following periods, please show number of people staying as 2 so that the pricing calculates correctly (if you add additional people it will incorrectly add additional charges!) Peak season: 20 Dec - 28 Feb: flat rate of $700 per night Privacy - The property has external security cameras in place to monitor the property when it is unoccupied. Cameras are turned off remotely, and remain off for the duration of guests stay. Due to a past negative experience with an unrated AirBnB guest, we now have a policy of only accepting bookings from guests who have a solid history or positive reviews.
