Welcome to Edda. We are Albane & Guillaume, a couple of city dwellers looking for a friendly setting to share. Edda is the first name of Albane's Italian grandmother. The one who brings together, the one who shares, the one who nourishes. Edda Country House is obviously a tribute to her work, but also to her culture and heritage. That of her granddaughter to whom she transmitted the love of giving, of nourishing, of receiving. The space Edda Country House is a marriage, a family story, a way of thinking about conviviality that leaves room for intimacy. It's a sweetness of life and the desire to create memories that build a common story. Edda Country House is a countryside setting on more than 6000 m2. The house consists of several buildings: a large main farmhouse where the two bedrooms with pool view and garden view are located on the first floor, each with its own independent access and can communicate (upon request). Opposite, two maisonettes and a barn complete the decor. Part of the barn has been refurbished to create La Dépendance, a beautiful, completely independent family suite with its own terrace. Our Pool View Room, located on the 1st floor of the main farmhouse, offers a magnificent view of the setting sun at the end of the day. The beams of the frame have been restored to provide superb architectural consistency. Bright, spacious and particularly comfortable, our Pool View Room will be your perfect cocoon to visit the surroundings or simply rest, inside or by the water on one of our many beds or Chilean beds. Enjoy total independence with independent access, bathroom & toilet. Only outdoor spaces are shared with the hosts and other guests. We have rethought the traditional guest house breakfast by making breakfast available in your room: homemade pastries, fruit juice, granola, jam, brioche... Enjoy your breakfast as you like at the time you want in the privacy of your room. Our garden is designed to combine comfort and nature. Stroll around the pool area lined with lavender, jasmine and honeysuckle. Stroll through the small wild undergrowth under the large oaks. Meet around a pétanque game. Whether you're reading a book or simply admiring the flowers and trees that adorn it, the garden is the perfect place to recharge your batteries after busy days of sightseeing. Located in the heart of the region's main attractions, Edda Country House is an ideal base for exploring the wonders of the Loire Valley.
