Only a 5 minute walk to the beach and within easy access to the spectacular Glenashdale Falls, Giants Graves, The Fairy Glen and Kings Cross Point as well as forestry walks to Lamlash and Kildonan. Whiting Bay Golf Course is a 10 minute walk and for the animal lovers the red squirrels ,rabbits and grouse that frequent the garden are a delight to watch with the occasional deer or bird of prey never far away. The space A comfortable self-contained annexe all on the one level (apart from 2 steps up to enter the property.) There is a private elevated decking area to the rear of the property where you can dine al fesco and the wood burning stove inside ensures cosy evenings regardless of what the Scottish weather brings. Whatever brings you to Arran you will find Rivendell the perfect spot to return to and relax. Guest access You will have access to the balcony area and the garden immediately behind it as well as the dedicated parking spaces (room for 2 cars). There is no washing machine in the property but there is a separate outside laundry room available on request. Other things to note The picturesque village of Whiting Bay has various amenities including a Post Office, local shop, coffee shop , restaurant, garage, children's play area and putting green. At the bottom of the hill from the property there is also a regular bus service to Brodick and around the island. This is a No Smoking and No Pet property. Special mention about the ferries. Please book your ferry as soon as you have confirmed your booking as tickets sell out very quickly during peak holiday times. Travel insurance is also recommended when travelling to an island.
