How about a trip to the country to clear your head? Life is crazy and you need to slow down and take a breather. This private space with its stunning mountain views is the perfect place to get away from it all. If you can't leave your work, bring it along and work remotely-- Yep, it's a remote location but we've got good WiFi available for ya! When you need a break, head over to Seneca Rocks or Spruce Knob for a fun hike. We remodeled a room in our lower level that was being used very little into something quite like a motel room, only with a much more country/quality touch. It will feel private. . . one other guest cabin positioned several hundred feet away and we will be the only people around, as opposed to a motel full of people! You will find it hard to locate lodging with a view like ours! It is worth chilling out in front of for a good while! You will have access to a private full bathroom with fresh linens, body wash, and shampoo provided. In addition, you will be able to use our WiFi, so if you need to work remotely while you are here, no problem! For your food preparation, there is a small refrigerator and a microwave in the room. Coffee, creamer, and sugar as well as a four-cup coffee pot are provided as well-- the final touch to your home-away-from-home. Check-in is anytime after 3 pm, and check-out is at 11:00 am or before. If you come in the winter, we recommend bringing an AWD. You will have access to your private room and private bath as well as the lower-level patio. You are welcome to use our firepit and wander all over the property, except for the space around the guest cabin above our garden (please kindly give these guests their privacy). We love when our guests make themselves at home and enjoy the entire property! We keep a mowed walking path around our pasture for your enjoyment and ours. Viewing the mountains from different angles along the path is pretty neat. We live here full time and will come and go with our normal lives. However, we enjoy our guests and are happy to visit or answer questions if you wish. Our home is surrounded by pasture and woods. You may see some cattle grazing or a farmer making hay close by. You might even see wildlife of multiple kinds if you are quiet. We keep a walking path mowed around our pasture for our enjoyment as well as yours. Our property is situated on a back road that is narrow; so watch out for other travelers, people, animals, etc. No public transportation available. If you come in winter, you may need an all-wheel drive vehicle. Check into this before you come if it is snow season. There is little to no mobile phone service in this area. Plan accordingly. There is free WiFi for you, but no provided electronic devices. Bring what you want to use. There is no TV or DVD. This area has way too many fun things to need those things! You will need to walk through a small section of our yard to get to your door. We hope to make a sidewalk someday. Bring extra shoes in case the grass is wet. You are welcome to use the firepit in the backyard. We also have firewood for sale ($0.50 per piece). We will give you starter materials, lawn chairs and hot dog sticks to borrow, and whatever else you need (as long as we have it (: ) ------- Note: We require all guests to sign a rental agreement as part of the booking process. Once you've made the reservation through Airbnb, you will receive a message with a link to a form to fill out and sign. The terms you will be agreeing to are outlined below. -The person registering the unit is responsible for all damages to the property by your party. -Inventory will be taken after each stay, and missing items will be billed to the person that registers the cabin. -A security deposit hold up to $500 is required. -Check-in time is anytime after 4 pm; check-out time is no later than 11:00 am. -To avoid additional cleaning fees, please leave the property neat and clean upon departure. -No smoking inside; leave no evidence of smoking outside. -No pets allowed. Eviction without refund if pets are discovered on premise. -No discharge of fire arms, fire works, or other explosives. --No loud or disruptive behavior, abuse of alcohol, or drug usage will be permitted. -There will be no house keeping services during your stay except by request for an additional charge. -Members of staff or management may enter the premises for the purpose of inspection and verification of maximum occupancy at anytime. -We will not be responsible for any injuries to anyone in your party or loss of property for any reason. By signing this agreement, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted this agreement, and that you agree to hold the owners of this property harmless in the event of any injury or loss while you are on the premises.
