You will find easy access to The tarka trail just a stone’s throw away, allowing you to take a leisurely walk or cycle (bike hire available at the bike shed) along the path into Barnstaple town centre to visit the local pannier market or museum. Alternatively a walk to fremington quay where you will find a wonderful cafe offering home cooked food and freshly baked cakes! Of course for the even more adventurous, you could push on with your bicycles to instow or Bideford should you wish! The house offers a well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and the use of a 6 hob gas oven as well as a ninja air fryer, coffee machine, dishwasher etc. The kitchen is open plan and interlinks with the dining/living room space. The kitchen and sitting room both boast breath taking views with the ever changing estuary, perfect to just sit and gaze after a busy day exploring the beautiful North Devon coast! Laundry facilitates are available should you need to do any washing or ironing. A 15 minute drive will take you to some of the best beaches in the UK, for instance Woolacombe Bay was voted the number 1 beach on trip advisor. You will find many local restaurants/pubs, also a short drive from the property ie instow and Applepdore - Appledore is an extremely quaint Devon fishing village which also hosts an annual book festival in September. North Devon is a great holiday spot for families and those that enjoy exploring the outdoors. And don’t forget to treat yourself to a delightful cream tea in North Devon!
