Centrally located double room in beautiful home!

My home is set in a lovely centrally located Victorian terraced house, bordering Zone 1 which has fantastic transport links to all parts of London. It is a 5 min walk from Oval Station and a 10 min walk from Vauxhall. This bright, private, peaceful, double bedroom would suit an independent traveller. I take a lot of pride in my home so you can expect nice decor and a good energy! The space Room The bedroom is set on the top floor (one flight of stairs to climb) and has a double bed and x2 built in wardrobes that you can use to unpack. It has a lovely view over the back gardens and is a peaceful space with loads of natural light. Towels will be provided. Location The house is located on a very quiet tree lined street. There are many pubs and a couple of parks nearby also! You can also walk to the River Thames in about 15 mins and access most of central London from Oval Station (5 min walk) or Vauxhall station (12 min walk) very quickly. Using either of the above stations you can get London Bridge, Borough market, Oxford street, soho, charing cross, Waterloo etc all within 20 mins, it's a pretty handy location. There are also plenty of public hire bikes you can rent out for the day if that takes your fancy. Other rooms There are a number of other rooms in the house you are welcome to enjoy as well. (listed under guest access) Bathroom There is a shared bathroom (with me) which is on the middle floor. Use of shower or bath. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are also provided. (Sanitary bags provided for any sanitary products, please don't flush down the loo!) Kitchen The kitchen is the only room in the house that has not been rennovated therefore you are welcome to use the fridge freezer, toaster and kettle. Unfortunately no cooking is allowed without prior approval. Garden I am a keen gardener and therefore you are more than welcome to enjoy the outside space. There is a little bistro table you can have your morning coffee on, along with a bench and also a lovely big chair sat in the flower border that i can provide cushions for if you want to use it. It's a delightful outdoor reading nook! Guest access You can enjoy all the rooms in the house; - Dining Room - Drawing Room (where you can plan your day ahead or relax with a good book and glass of wine) - Snug Room (TV / chillout area) - Kitchen (for light use, no cooking) - Bathroom (shared with me) - Garden (being a terraced townhouse you are surrounded by gardens from all sides and it's a really peaceful place to have your morning cuppa when our British weather permits!) During your stay Please do not arrive at any time without making advanced arrangements with me. Unless otherwise told I will meet guests in person to handover the keys and provide house information. EARLY CHECK IN: £15 (up to 3 hrs) LATE CHECK OUT: £15 (up to 3 hrs) This is providing I dont have another guest booked in so please enquire early in advance. As a born and bred Londoner I am more than happy to give you any reccommendations and tips for your trip to London. I am equally happy to give you your space as well. Other things to note Breakfast is not included but there is a gorgeous little cafe 1 min walk away which provides all day brunch. It is very popular with the local community. There is also a very well stocked local corner shop and x2 supermarkets nearby. No shoes in the house. Junatek 🐈, the CEO of the establishment, will be there to keep a watchful eye on you and make sure you are comfortable and happy during your stay. He will also keep an even more watchful eye on what you eat....😻 but is very well behaved. I have great relationships with my neighbours and do not want to jeopardise that in any way. No parties allowed and please be mindful of them when arriving back late at night. Parking is free outside my home from 6.30pm - 07.00am on weekdays and all day on Saturday and Sundays. For hours outside of that you will need to pay and arrange for parking yourselves.
