CasAnna a Romanello

CasAnna is a quiet and joyful break from the hectic life of the city. It is a belvedere surrounded by olive and almond trees where the gaze sweeps over the hills of Noto to the sea, on clear days to the island of Portopalo. Originally a simple stone warehouse, CasAnna has recently been carefully restored and is now a beautiful and cozy country retreat, independent but not isolated, very close to the town of Noto and the sea. The space The house has a nice living area with an open kitchen, a double bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower on the ground floor. In the mezzanine area, there is a bedroom with two beds, an antechamber with a third bed, and a bathroom without a shower. Outside there is a large terrace equipped with seating, a BBQ, and an outdoor table. The house is surrounded by fields of olive and almond trees; the only sounds you hear are those of agricultural equipment in the spring, cicadas in the summer, and olive harvesters in the fall. Sometimes, on summer evenings, the wind can carry the noise of parties or events from nearby houses. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. The pool, measuring 3x6 meters and 1.5 meters deep, is perfect for cooling off. As it is private and therefore unattended, minors are only allowed to use it if accompanied by their parents and/or legal guardians, and diving is strictly prohibited. Guest access Guests have access to the approximately 2-hectare private land. We are in the middle of the countryside, with the typical flora and fauna of eastern Sicily. If you love being in contact with nature, and if you are not afraid of possible insects, rodents, hawks, cats, and foxes, then this place is for you; otherwise, we recommend that you choose locations in the village. Other things to note The water comes from the cistern via an electric pump and not from municipal pipes, so it is not drinkable. It can be used for all other purposes (cooking, washing, bathing, showering). In Sicily, water is a scarce resource, so we ask you to be careful not to waste it.
