Welcome to DAYO, our cosy homestay/cafe just a stone throw away from Big Wish beach in the heart of Pacifico. Enjoy a laid-back vibe with coastal artwork, surfboard, and the soothing sound of waves. Perfect for relaxing after a day on the water. Our cafe also offers fresh coffee and a friendly atmosphere where surfers and travellers gather. Please note: the homestay is in a village area and directly along the road. Noise from vehicles, neighbors, and daily village activities should be expected. The space The room is located at the back of DAYO, our cafe / bar. We opened DAYO cafe in February 2024 and are slowly starting to open our homestay. Currently, we have two rooms. Our native room features a queen size bed, an electric fan and large windows that flood the space with natural light and a sea breeze. The private bathroom is just down the stairs. Our cafe is a welcoming and laid-back space, perfect to relax and meet fellow travellers. During the day travellers and locals walk in for a coffee, surflesson or just to hangout with us. Around sunset people gather here for our cocktail happy hour, to play boardgames or for an ice cold beer. Our cafe has a nice buzz and ambiance, and is one of the few bars in town. But we’re not a loud party bar that will disturb your sleep. We’re located a one minute walk from Pacifico Beach, where the famous Big Wish surfspot is and 5 minutes from Bamboo/Wantaw surfspot. Looking to surf? We offer surf lessons and guides from SISA certified instructors and have surfboards for rent. Other things to note We offer airport (Sayak) pick-up and drop off. We’re also happy to arange a motorbike for you (₱350-500 depending on rental duration).
