Come & see the Platypus

Our bright & cheerful Georgian home has everything you need to explore the exciting nearby attractions, natural wonders, food havens & local artistic talent. We love to stroll along the river, experiencing the artworks, the sculptures, & watch the platypus go about their day. Completely relaxing or having an adventure paddling the canoes in front of the cottage. 2 canoes, & 2 bikes (1 Lg 1 Med) are provided for those wishing to take in the sites along this magical stretch of the Meander. The space Ideally suited for longer stays, a romantic getaway, or a family retreat. Everything has been provided to make you feel right at home. The two bedrooms have been renovated with barn like doors on the wardrobes, all new furnishings, quality curtains and fixtures and luxury beds and bedding to match. A huge Sony smart TV with a separate sound system is provided to watch or listen to your favourite music or show. Books, boards games and family favourites like Boules and quoits are ready to challenge and create some great memories. There are fixed heaters in each room along with a Dyson Hot & Cool air purifying fan heater for your leisure in Summer. Bag racks are included, or feel free to unpack in the robes provided. The sunroom features a luxurious queen size sofa bed which is available upon request. A quality Nuna high chair and fold away cot are also provided. For outdoor entertaining, there is a Webber BBQ with all the necessary utensils located in an undercover patio. Guest access Parking is free and available on and off street. Check-In after 10 am.
