Guests will stay in a cozy, private room with its own bathroom. The room is walled off from the rest of the house with own entrance, patio area and parking. Our home is located in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood (voted safest in Oregon) with walking/hiking trails, parks, grocery stores, restaurants, and commercial areas nearby (Bethany Village, West Union Village, Tanasbourne, etc). We are also 15 minutes away from Nike HQ and Intel HQ, and 20 minutes to downtown Portland. The space The guest room, bathroom and patio are at the corner on the ground floor of our home - it is walled off (with permanently closed door) from the main house, has its own access from the back yard, and a combination lock on the private entry gate lockbox. The room has no access to the laundry nor the kitchen area. Guest access Eveything in the room and bath which is separated from the main house. There is NO access to the kitchen or the laundry area. The patio area is part of the house backyard but enclosed with privacy fence. During your stay You can just text the hosts via Airbnb messaging. We respect your privacy as much as we value ours. There will be no (or limited) interaction between us and our guests. Other things to note Please note that even if the room has its private access and split-off from the rest of the house, it is still part of the house. Guests may hear some sounds from the house (e.g. people conversing, coffee maker in the morning, dog barking, footsteps upstairs, etc) but we also follow the scheduled quiet time. We also have a small shihpoo in the house who goes out to the yard sometimes to potty and you might hear him at times too. In between guests we do not just deep-wash the bedsheets, comforters and pillow covers, we also do the same with the matress protector and pillow protectors to have two levels of cleaning and disinfection.
