Relax and reset at our peaceful cabin in the mountains! We love to Go outside and Play at our WV piece of heaven! Fish, kayak, in our 2 acer "pondalake" or bird watch and hike some of our trails! Use our iconic Red Ryder BB guns at the shooting range! Or just chill! Enjoy the covered deck overlooking the water, read a great book, contemplate lifes complexities, reflect, and count your blessings! Rustling leaves and water all provide the perfect setting to figure it all out! The space For sleeping arrangements we have a first floor private bedroom, with a queen size bed, and a barndoor closure. It has an attached 1/2 bath and washer/dryer The open loft also has a queen bed. Say hello to the happy stacked turtle carving that make the newel post going up the narrow spiral staircase! Please be aware that our kitchen has a gas cook top and a l 5 in one oven. we have a small refrigerator in the kitchen and a full size refrigerator/freezer down the stairs in the lower level. It works for us but some may find the stairs difficult. please see the photos for a better description. A picture is worth a thousand words! We have several lovely places to gather! The front porch with the coolest 'Fred Flinstone' wood furniture ever; the back deck perfect for alfresco lunch and dinner overlooking the water; and your favorite iced beverage somehow tastes better on the dock listening to the fountain play its song. Our goal is to stay outside and play as long as possible but coming inside to catch a great movie on our samsung smart TV is a great ending to a good day! We have some streaming services logged in but if you use your own, please remember to log out. The wood burning indoor fireplace is not operational at this time. if you decide to visit us please mention your favorite color. This helps me know you have read the full description and there aren't any unwanted surprises! Guest access The day of your arrival we will send you the code to the lock box on the wood rack beside the front door to access the key for the front door of the cabin. The gate will be left open for you during your entire stay . Make sure to return the key to the lock box. It is very easy to get locked out. To keep the door from locking, push the small round button on the edge of the door between the door handles. The locked basement and sheds are for owners use only. Other things to note The aerators' stay on 24/7 for our "pondalake" health. The Fountain is on a timer and should turn on morning and off at night. We provide some coffee, filters, condiments, and a few essential kitchen supplies including paper towels, TP, napkins, foil, saran wrap, trash bags, etc. Ask us if you have a question about supplies. Also please let us know if you use the last of one of our supplies so that we can restock for the next guest! Unfortunately our indoor fireplace is in disrepair. Please do not try to use it. But if you like a good fire there is a firepit outside next to the water!
