We hope to host you soon! The space 34th St Station is located in Paducah's west end, also known as mid-town. It's a quiet, beautiful, historic neighborhood located on a street with very little traffic. Perfect for walking to the well known "Coke plant" home of Mellow Mushroom & Dry Ground Brewery with indoor & outdoor seating often providing live music. Across the street is Piper's , a lovely location with indoor & outdoor garden seating serving coffees and creative libations. In the same area lies a small local grocery, park, post office, pharmacy and bank. Our beautiful downtown riverfront area offering the Carson Center, the National Quilt Museum, fantastic shops, and local restaurants is a must see! Both hospitals, a large commercial area, parks, main highways & I24 are within a 5-10 minute drive. This beautiful 1930's home has been lovingly restored to include all modern amenities. The large eat-in kitchen is nicely equipped. A coffee bar area provides a Keurig and drip pot. We've provided plenty of extra linens and pillows to ensure a comfortable night's sleep. With a large covered front porch, plus a backyard deck with patio you have multiple options for spending time outside. Guest access The entire house is your's to use, with exception of a locked utility basement. Fenced backyard with deck and patio. We can usually accommodate early arrivals and late check outs. Our home is equipped with new and very comfortable king and queen beds, and can provide air mattresses if needed, plus a very comfy sofa. We can accommodate up to 6 using the sofa and either a queen air mattress or 2 twin air mattresses. This area is not flooded with city lights, therefore making it wonderful for stargazing; but yet enough lighting for evening strolls. No large parties allowed, but want you to feel free to host smaller gatherings while staying with us. We do kindly ask you to run the details by us before going forward with a party or gathering. I will gladly receive delivery orders from Walmart, Kroger or Sam's and refrigerate perishables before you arrive.
