Other things to note The period charm of the property means you will find areas of the cottage with low head height, particularly doorways. Please take care. The property is not suitable for those with reduced mobility and guests with young children should take care. The default bed make up is two king size beds - for bookings made with more than two guests we will aim to confirm with you if you would prefer a twin set up or king set up in the second bedroom, if no confirmation the default of two king size beds will likely be made. The cottage is located on the road to the Broadway Highstreet - some traffic noise can be heard at times. We adore our furry guests and happily extend a warm welcome to pets in our home. To ensure a comfortable stay for all, we kindly request that pets remain downstairs and that bedroom doors are kept closed. If needed, a stair gate can be fitted for added safety (please see children equipment for further information). While we understand pets love cosy spots, we kindly ask that they refrain from lounging on the sofa and chairs. For our four-legged friends, there are plenty of scenic countryside walks waiting to be explored. As some paths may get muddy, please remember to carry a towel to clean those adorable paws. Forgot a dog towel? No worries, you can find one in the "woof box" below the microwave in the pantry. To maintain cleanliness, kindly wipe your pet's paws and use the provided dog towel instead of the white towels meant for guests. Please note we do not have a tumble dryer in the cottage! In our efforts to keep our outdoor space pristine, we ask that any mess left by pets in the garden is promptly cleaned up and disposed of in the wheelie bin located on the driveway. Thank you for helping us keep our home and surroundings beautiful for all to enjoy. Poop bags can also be found in the woof bin should you run out! A travel cot, baby bath and highchair is available to use, although due to storage in the cottage are not kept inside the cottage. Please do let us know if you require these and we will happily leave them out for you. Due to health and saftey reasons we do not supply bedding for the travel cot. (please see airguide for further information on arrival) No smoking is permitted throughout the property. Hen and stag parties are not permitted. We offer discounts for weekly and longer stays. A basket of logs will be left for the log burner during the colder months and for the fire pit during the summer months to get you going. You will find a full how to use the log burner guide on the Airguide Guest Book via the QR code on the frame in the kitchen. Bedding is feather free although decorative cushions may contain feathers and should be removed if you are allergic. The decorative cushions on the sofa may also contain feathers. Where sustainability matters.. Whilst renovations were taking place on the cottage we took steps to install low energy LED fixed lighting to minimise energy usage. We also vastly increased the amount of insulation in the property and used sheep’s wool insulation where possible. Supporting local business’s (our freshly delivered hampers from the Broadway Deli located just in the high street is also full of local produce). Combining modern comforts with beautiful antique pieces of furniture including Gordon Russell items crafted locally in the Cotswolds and have stayed here ever since. We encourage the use of eco cycles on washing machines and dish washers. Our Hive smart thermostat is set for scheduled comfort heating, morning and evening in the colder month’s but also gives you full control and flexibility to boost the heating using the boost button as we have found this is the most sustainable option… You of course still have full control of the heating via switching to manual to assure you are always comfortable in the cottage. We encourage all guests to place recycling into the green recycling bin on the drive. We will be taking steps to add more sustainable features along the way.
