Wallingford was once home to one of the strongest and most important castles in England. In 1067 William the Conqueror instructed the building of the castle on his way to London to take the throne. In 1502 Henry VIII inherited the castle. On 17 November 1652 Cromwell’s Council of State ordered its demolition, making way for this newly built loft apartment within the castle boundary. Just 3 minutes walk from shops bars and restaurants, downstairs shower & cloakroom, gas central heating and WIFI. The space Downstairs has a kitchen and cloakroom with walk in shower. Upstairs has an open plan sitting room and bedroom. It's central heated with a combination boiler. Guest access On site parking for 1 car, own amenities. Other things to note As we have 2 floors, we cannot accommodate infants due to safety reasons. We are strictly 2 adults maximum.
