Description
Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. We are located at the point where four waters meet. Use the private beach for relaxation or use the private pier for fishing. The water is 5-6ft deep at the end of the pier and can be used for fishing or crabbing. There are 6 adult kayaks and 4 kids kayaks on site available for your use. The large back deck also features Adirondack chairs and a hot tub. We also have a charcoal grill with utensils on site. Charcoal is not provided. The space This is a single home, not a shared space or apartment. The back yard, pier and beach area are private. The only house that can see the back yard is across the river. The nearest body of water is the Potomac with Virginia on the other side. Yes you can dock your boat/pwc there. You may crab/fish anywhere on the property, there is over 2,500ft of shoreline you may use. There is a crab pot located on the pier with eye hooks attached so you can retrieve it. Bring your own bait and fishing poles. The home has 7 beds which sleep 11 but also has 3 couches that can sleep 3 additional if needed. One Chesterfield and two Arhaus (They're pretty comfy!) Guest access The entire home/grounds are included with your stay. There is a large parking lot to the right of the home that can be used for vehicles. Other things to note *** Please note that this home was built in 1889. It has a ton of character but also has characteristics of an old home. Some doors may be tight as the home has settled, uneven spots as well as poor insulation in some parts of the home. As we do our best to combat these intricacies, they are present but not inherently dangerous. ***
