Like many traditional Taiwanese homes, the stairs inside the house show the architectural style of the time.Compared to modern buildings, the stairs are narrower and slightly steeper, which is part of the original structure of the old house and is a demonstration of its history and authenticity.Many travelers who cherish old buildings and historical spaces will find that such details add a unique charm to the accommodation experience; however, if you have mobility issues or concerns about stairs, it is recommended to take this into account when planning your trip. The space Number of guests: If there are more than three people in this room, the fourth person can still sleep on the floor, if there is not much luggage. In principle, I set a maximum of three people, and there are two additional folding tatami and mobile folding sofa beds that can be added temporarily added as needed. Size of the bed: 150*200 cm, with an extra layer of 5 cm memory mattress. Folding tatami size: (A) 80*200cm (B) 68*200cm Clean mats will be provided on the tatami. Additional folding sofa bed (C) is not currently placed in the room: The partial spread length is about 190cm. The total length of all spreads is 245cm. Another folding sofa bed (D) is placed in the living room and can be temporarily moved to the room and the small dining table in the room for exchange. Guest access The living room and kitchen on the first floor can be shared with other guests. The house has a washer and dryer, and if you need to dry your laundry, there is a drying rack next to the washer that you can use, or there is a hanger on the dryer that you can hang. During your stay 1. If you need help moving your luggage, please tell me in advance the arrival and check-out times, and I will try to arrange manpower. 2. If you need a car or pick-up, please let me know in advance. 3. If you stay for several days in a row, I may occasionally show up to help you with garbage sorting and simple cleaning. Unless you have privacy issues and don't want me to show up, you can also let me know. The staircase is narrower and steeper than those found in modern buildings. This is part of the home’s original structure and historical character. Guests with mobility concerns are advised to consider this before booking. 【Luggage Assistance｜English】 If you have heavy or multiple pieces of luggage, we may be able to assist in moving your luggage to the first floor in advance, usually the evening before checkout, depending on time and availability. This is a complimentary, non-guaranteed courtesy and must be arranged ahead of time. Please note that early morning assistance on the day of checkout is generally not available, as staff may not be present at that time. Afternoon assistance may be possible by prior coordination, subject to same-day conditions. 【Smoking｜English】 If smoking is necessary, please do so only on the balcony or outdoors. Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors. Please ensure all personal belongings and food items are taken with you upon checkout. 【Kitchen Use｜English】 As the kitchen does not have a window for ventilation, please avoid frying or cooking methods that produce heavy smoke. For reheating food, an oven is available for air-frying, steaming, or baking. A recently added MUJI microwave is also available for quick and convenient reheating. A portable gas stove and various pots are provided for simple cooking such as soups or noodles. 【Trash & Recycling｜English】 For short stays of a few days, we can assist with trash disposal. If you are able to help with basic sorting, it would be greatly appreciated. Please follow the guidelines below: Recyclable containers (3D items): plastic bottles, drink cups, bento boxes – Please empty food waste, rinse clean, and then place together Paper / plastic: clean paper and plastic bags without food residue are recyclable Non-recyclable: paper or plastic contaminated with food Food waste: drain liquids before bagging – If disposal is not immediately possible, food waste may be temporarily stored in the refrigerator to prevent odors, insects, or pests – Please avoid leaving food in the room overnight 【Garbage Collection Times & Locations｜English】 a.
