Guest access This guestroom is located on the third floor. The loft features a king-size bed (180 x 200 cm) and a memory foam mattress (120 x 200 cm), suitable for one adult or two older children. The room can comfortably accommodate up to 5–6 guests. For special events, the entire building is available for rent at an additional cost. Tatami Dimensions: (A): 80 x 200 cm (B): 68 x 200 cm Freshly cleaned mattress covers are provided for the tatami mats. Additional Foldable Sofa Bed (C): Partially extended length: ~190 cm Fully extended total length: ~245 cm Other things to note 【Staircase】 Like many traditional Taiwanese homes, access to the third floor is via the original staircase. The staircase is narrower and steeper than those found in modern buildings. This is part of the home’s original structure and historical character. Guests with mobility concerns are advised to consider this before booking. 【Luggage Assistance】 If you have heavy or multiple pieces of luggage, we may be able to assist in moving your luggage to the first floor in advance, usually the evening before checkout, depending on time and availability. This is a complimentary, non-guaranteed courtesy and must be arranged ahead of time. Please note that early morning assistance on the day of checkout is generally not available, as staff may not be present at that time. Afternoon assistance may be possible by prior coordination, subject to same-day conditions. 【Trash & Recycling】 For short stays of a few days, we can assist with trash disposal. If you are able to help with basic sorting, it would be greatly appreciated. Please follow the guidelines below: Recyclable containers (3D items): plastic bottles, drink cups, bento boxes – Please empty food waste, rinse clean, and then place together Paper / plastic: clean paper and plastic bags without food residue are recyclable Non-recyclable: paper or plastic contaminated with food Food waste: drain liquids before bagging – If disposal is not immediately possible, food waste may be temporarily stored in the refrigerator to prevent odors, insects, or pests – Please avoid leaving food in the room overnight 【Garbage Collection Times & Locations】 Tingzhou Road: 5:45 PM and 9:15 PM (about a 30-second walk) In front of 7-11, No. 80 Roosevelt Road: 8:15 PM (about a 1-minute walk) 【Other Notes】 The living room and kitchen on the first floor are shared common areas and may be used together with other guests. A washing machine and dryer are available. If you prefer to air-dry your laundry, three drying racks are provided next to the washing machine, and hangers are also available on top of the dryer. As the dryer is located outside the second-floor room, its use may generate noise at night. If you need to use the dryer after 10:00 PM, please kindly communicate with other guests and obtain their consent in advance, in order to maintain a comfortable and quiet environment for everyone.
