Description
Come and relax at Little Ubley Wood, a two-bedroom retreat in the Mendip AONB. You will have stunning lake views and direct access to excellent walking trails, bird-watching, fishing and nature. Good restaurants and pubs are close by with the nearest pub at Compton Martin (the Butcombe Ring O’Bells) a mile away. Bristol Airport is a 15 minute drive away and the cities of Bristol and Bath within 30 minutes. You are close to local attractions Cheddar Gorge, the city of Wells and Glastonbury Tor. The space The living accommodation is situated on the first floor so that it enjoys far-reaching views. There are two bedrooms are on the ground floor with a separate bathroom. There is a stair lift for those with accessibility issues. You will have free access to Wi-Fi and TV with Sky and Netflix. Guest access Guests enjoy the sole use of the annexe and share the hosts’ 3 acre garden (along with badgers, pheasants, owls and sometimes deer). Guests with young children should note that there is a pond area with fish, frogs, newts and beautiful dragon flies but will need to take care as it is not fenced off. There are also steep drops in places around the garden. Other things to note The accommodation is suitable for less able travellers with a stair-lift and a fold-down seat in the shower with grab rails. The door entrances are not fully flush with the floor but are manageable with a wheel-chair. Please let us know in advance if you are going to need the stair-lift.
