A Celtic settlement is evidenced by archaeological finds 500 BC. About 550 years later, the Romans were here. In addition to the many historical details (and corresponding museums) to explore, a diverse, often natural landscape awaits you to discover. The neighborhood is located on the "Black Forest side" and is directly adjacent to the Black Forest Mitte/Nord National Park. You can practically leave from the front door. If you are more after a little stroll, the Neckar town offers, among other things, a beautiful marketplace, where you can sit relaxed under the chestnut trees. Or you can walk to the Glattal and enjoy coffee and black forest cherry cake in front of the historic backdrop of the moated castle.
