The space As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a spacious and tastefully decorated living area, adorned with modern furnishings and large windows that invite ample natural light. Sink into the plush sofas or gather around the sleek dining table for cozy meals and lively conversations. As this is our main family residence, you will have a fully stocked pantry and all the cooking pots/pans and appliances you need to cook for the whole family. No matter the season, you'll stay comfortable with ducted air conditioning and heating throughout the home, allowing you to adjust the temperature to your liking for optimal comfort. Outside you can relax in the hammock, sit amongst the vegetable garden or play basketball, handball or pickleball in the driveway. Gather round the fire-pit in the colder months to toast some marshmallows. This quiet, family friendly cul-de-sac means kids can ride bikes, scooters or shoot hoops on the street without too much worry about traffic. When it's time to explore, venture out to discover the nearby cafes, shops, parks, and pubs, where you can immerse yourself in the local culture and flavours. Newcastle favourites, Equium Social, is only a 200m walk with Praise Joe and Baked Uprising a short distance further. With lots of bike paths accessible from Mayfield, you can leave the car at home and explore the city at a leisurely pace. Guest access The whole of the main property will be available for guests to use. There is a granny flat out the back that will be unavailable to guests. The granny flat is used for storage. Other things to note Please be aware that this is our family home so there will be toys, books (for young and old), and board games galore available for you to use. The pantry will be stocked so no need to bring oil, S&P etc. You’re welcome to use whatever you need. Being our main residence (we’re likely off camping when you stay) it’s not perfect but it is comfortable, in a great location and with great amenities. *Please note: There is a train line at the end of our street. They are coal trains, not passenger, so they aren't frequent and travel slowly. Due to no noise barriers they aren't meant to shunt in this area meaning they pass by fairly quietly, although you will hear them from time to time. It can sometimes sound like thunder.
