The Snug is located at the end of a quiet country lane in a private location. Tastefully refurbished in 2024 as a single floor private annex with its own large parking space outside the front door. Your own private garden, outdoor seating area & patio. Renowned for high quality food, our local pub the Druids Arms is a 5 minute walk from the front door. The space OVERVIEW We aim to create a retreat that balances modern comfort with rural charm. The Snug is a pet free guest suite. Overlooking and surrounded by beautiful English countryside and situated on a single floor (no steps/stairs). Recently designed to a high specification throughout the property. LOCATION Bristol 5 miles Bath 6 miles Cheddar 6 miles Wells 7 miles *There is an excellent local taxi service available for couples who wish not to drive. KITCHEN Contains own private fully equipped kitchen with high quality appliances including oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, air fryer etc. A high chair is also available for little ones if required. LOUNGE A comfortable lounge with new furniture in 2024 looking out on to your own private garden. The lounge has a 43 inch android SMART TV to stream all your TV channels if required. BEDROOM 1 You have your own private garden view direct from the bedroom via double patio doors on to a terrace patio, which opens directly on to the garden. A king size bed with a new 2000 pocket sprung mattress and high quality bed linen in the bedroom to ensure you get a good night’s sleep, There is also a high specification Z bed available upon request for little ones if required to ensure they have a restful night’s sleep also. There is a baby travel cot available if required. BATHROOM The modern en-suite bathroom contains a high pressure MIRA shower system to ensure you enjoy a refreshing shower. A large heated towel rail is situated in the bathroom.. PRIVATE GARDEN Access to your own private back garden directly from your lounge and bedroom with private patio seating area. A BBQ and chiminea is available for guests private use also. There is also plenty of seating outside to enjoy the garden if you wish. SUPERFAST WIFI The Snug has SuperFAST WiFI at no extra cost. HEATING The property has modern underfloor heating in the lounge and kitchen area and central heating in the bedroom and bathroom, so you will be nice and warm on those colder evenings. NO SMOKING OR VAPING Please note - No Smoking or Vaping is allowed in the Snug - in accordance with Air BnB rules, a £200 deep clean fee will be charged if smoking or vaping is smelt or detected. OUT & ABOUT Stanton Drew is a traditional English village with its own Round House and ancient Stone Circles. We are ideally located for visiting Bath, Wells, Bristol, Cheddar, the Mendips and the surrounding area. * Local National Trust sites are a short drive away. Please ask us about our free entrance for guests offer if you plan to visit the National Trust. If you enjoy walking, then you will be spoilt for choice. Bring your walking boots! Guest access Keys are stored in a secure key lockbox outside the front door to the Snug to accommodate arrival times at your convenience should we not be around to greet you.
