Idyllic secluded retreat: House, Barn, Pond

Escape to a serene 40-acre retreat with a charming house and barn, perfect for gatherings. Enjoy mountain views from the vaulted-ceiling living space with a fireplace. The chef's kitchen and deck offer culinary delights and outdoor dining. In the main house there are 4 bedrooms, gym, sauna, and in the separate Barn, 2 bedroom apartment with its own kitchen, to provide ample space for relaxation. Swim in the pond, explore the property, or play lawn games. An idyllic setting for your next getaway. The space This generous house can sleep 8 people comfortably plus an addition 4 people in the Barn apartment. The House bedrooms are: 1 Master suite with an ensuite bathroom, 1 Queen bedroom that shares a bathroom with a bedroom with two twin beds, a queen bedroom in the lower level that has its own bathroom. The Barn is about a 1 minute walk from the house and the apartment accessed via stairs. It has a queen bedroom and a double twin bedroom. They share 1 bathroom, full kitchen and living room. The house is located almost at the end of the road in Sundown Wild Forest and set way back from the road for total privacy. We suggest bringing your initial supplies as the closest food shopping is about 30 minutes away. We are dog-friendly for an additional fee. (Any other type of pet must be approved). We do have wifi via "Star-Link" satellite which can get affected by atmospheric conditions, but generally provides great service. Guest access The property consists of two buildings, the house and the barn. These can be accessed only if you rent them. Other things to note Bedrooms: 4 bedrooms in the main house and 2 in the Barn Bugs: Yes there will be different bugs depending on the season, including Mosquitos and ticks. Take precautions by using sprays. Hot Water: The house and the Barn have their own electric Hot water tanks. These tanks will provide enough hot water for a couple of showers at a time, however things like baths or multiple showers at the same time will deplete the hot water supply quicker. If it runs out you will have to wait for uo to an hour for it to fully reheat. Pond: Please note that the pond and any streams are not fenced off so if you have small children please be responsible for their safety. The pond is great for swimming from the floating dock. Wifi: The WiFi is provided by Star link so is satellite and can be less stable than what you might be used to in a city. It is the highest speed that is provided in this remote spot. Cooking: We have a beautiful Chefs stove that uses propane as its fuel source. We also have an outside propane gas grill. AC/Heat: Both the house and the Barn have their own independent systems that work very well. In summer the loft in the house will get much warmer and we suggest using the ceiling fan to help distribute the cooler air from below. These systems do not work if you have windows and doors open.
