Chalet feeling in the idyllic Emmental

In our Stöckli you will live as in Gotthelf's times but with the comfort of today. The wood-burning stove provides a cozy warmth. The whole house is at your disposal during your stay. In addition to your very private outdoor seating area, you can also use the large flower garden with various seating options. The flower garden is publicly accessible, so it may well be that you also meet other connoisseurs in the garden. The space The 3-room day laborer cottage from 1780 welcomes you with lots of charm and loving details. It is quietly located on the outskirts of the village, surrounded by pure nature and yet the village center is a 7-minute walk away. IMPORTANT: THE STÖCKLI IS NOT SUITABLE FOR SMALL CHILDREN. On the first floor there is a combined kitchen/living room with a well-equipped kitchen. This includes a dishwasher, a fridge with a small freezer compartment, 3 electric hotplates with an oven. The hot water is also heated electrically. A coffee machine is available as well as a small supply of coffee capsules, tea, spices and a fondue caquelon. To keep warm on cold days, the tiled stove must be heated. The stove is heated from the kitchen. If you need help, I'm happy to assist you, otherwise a description is available. From the kitchen you can step directly into the flower garden that you share with us and visitors. You can take your breakfast with you into the garden and settle into one of the many romantic seats or you can read a book or just enjoy the variety of flowers and the chirping of the birds. By the way, you prepare your own breakfast, so it is not included in the price. The ground floor also has a dining and living room. The large table invites you to eat, play and discuss with your loved ones at night. You can end the day comfortably in the cozy sitting area or on the cozy tiled stove. A guest toilet is also available on the first floor. The second floor is accessible via a steep, narrow staircase (unsuitable for people with limited mobility or small children). On the second floor there are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed (160 x 200 cm) and one with a pull-out bed (80/160 x 200 cm). In the bedrooms there are small closets for clothes. The bathroom on the second floor is equipped with a shower. Shampoo, body soap and hand soap are available. Shower towels are also available. The bathroom is heated with electric heating. The accommodation also includes a laundry room with clotheslines and a Seccomat (dehumidifier), which can be reached via the terrace. The terrace has a large table; made for nice summer evenings outside. If it should rain... no problem either. The seating area is covered. Guest access The entire house is at your disposal during your stay. You can park your car right at the entrance. The Stöckli has 3 1/2 rooms, a toilet on the first floor and a bathroom with shower on the 2nd floor. You have your own laundry room with a washing machine and drying facilities. There is also a disposal station. Around the house you have your own seats and the public seats in the large flower garden are also available. Other things to note Wynigen is well connected to public transportation. In a good 5 minutes' walk you can reach the train station. Every hour the train takes you to Bern in 20 minutes or in the other direction to Olten. From Olten and Bern there are very good train connections in all directions. Wynigen is a tranquil farming village in the Emmental valley. We have good shopping in the village shop, in the bakery with café and the butcher's. There is a flower shop and a very good bike shop. Wynigen also has an excellent restaurant. You can also eat excellently in Rudswilbad. Wynigen is located on the edge of the Emmental, known for its quaint farmhouses and hills and of course Emmental cheese and rustic folklore. The Emmental can also be easily explored by bike. The Stöckli is located on the famous Heart Route, but many attractions are also easily accessible by bicycle. In the Stöckli there are documents for all kinds of excursions.
