Enjoy your stay in Seattle at this centrally located private house on a tree-lined avenue. The spacious house is flooded with natural light. There is air-conditioning, off-street parking, 2 workspaces and wi-fi. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, a playground, and Lake Washington. Just a quick drive to downtown, Seattle Center/ Space Needle, many Seattle hospitals, University of Washington, stadiums, Amazon, and more! Enjoy new mattresses purchased Sept, 2024! See photos for info. The space Front yard: Beautiful landscaping, small lawn area, space for 2 cars in the driveway. MAIN LEVEL: Entryway: There is an entry table and small coat closet as you enter the living room. Living room: The "formal" living room space has high ceilings, large windows and is filled with light. There are two comfortable sofas and a coffee table large enough to play games or enjoy a drink together. There is a piano in this space that is not available for guest use and is locked. Please do not place anything on top of the piano to protect it from damage. Thank you! Dining room: This room is adjacent to the living room and kitchen. There is seating for 6. A large window looks out on the backyard. Kitchen: The large, updated kitchen is well stocked for daily cooking and entertaining. The large counters are excellent for preparing meals. There is plenty of cupboard space to store your food and any additional kitchen items you may bring with you for your stay. Appliances include a gas range, full size refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, blender, microwave, and toaster oven. We try to keep some basics on hand including spices, cooking oil, sugar and flour (quantity and exact items may vary). Windows look out on the backyard. Living room #2: This living room is adjacent to the kitchen and is perfect for hanging out with family and friends. There is a large TV equipped with a Roku Stick so you can log into your favorite apps like Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Prime, and more. You will find throw blankets, games, puzzles, books and toys in this room. The fireplace in this room is currently not functional. Bathroom/Laundry Room: The main floor bathroom is a half bath with toilet, sink, washer and dryer. The washer and dryer are available for guest use. Backyard: The door to the backyard is in living room #2. There is a patio with a dining table and seating for 4. There is a lawn area and lovely landscaping. UPSTAIRS: Primary Bedroom: This room is equipped with a queen bed, pillows, and linens. NEW Brooklyn Bedding Signature Hybrid mattress added September, 2024! There is a desk and chair, built in bookcase, and a walk-in closet. A pack n play with sheet and pee pad, and an automatic vibrating baby lounger are available for use. More baby gear is on the way and can be found here. En Suite bathroom: The bathroom connected to the primary bedroom has a tub with a shower. Second bedroom: This room has a queen bed, pillows and linens. The bed here is a murphy bed so it can be closed up if you would like to use the space to exercise, for a kids play area, or something else! The mattress in this room is a Brentwood Home Cedar Natural Luxe. There is a nightstand, built in shelves and a closet with sliding doors. Third bedroom: This room has a queen bed, pillows and linens. NEW Brooklyn Bedding Signature Hybrid mattress added September, 2024! There is a desk and chair, a dresser and a closet. Bathroom: This second bathroom upstairs is shared by 2 bedrooms and accessed from the hallway. It has a tub with a shower. CLEANING: The entire house is cleaned before each guest. We use eco-friendly cleaning supplies whenever possible, but occasionally may use other products. All bedroom and bathroom linens are washed before each guest. This includes sheets, duvet covers, towels and bathmats. We use unscented or lightly scented eco-friendly detergent when possible, so you will not find heavily scented linens. Cleaning products are made available to guests so you can clean during your stay. Please note that during longer stays (1 month +) you may need to replenish some supplies. STOCKED WITH THE BASICS: In the kitchen you will find some basic items to get you started. This may include: spices, cooking oil, sugar, flour, coffee and filters, tea, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, a sponge, paper towels, compost bags, and garbage bags. Quantity and exact items may vary. In the bathrooms you will find hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire house, front yard, driveway and backyard. There is no garage access, no access to the backyard shed, and there is one locked storage closet in the house for the owner. There is a piano in the living room that is not available for guest use and is locked.
