Description
This authentic barn for tulip bulbs from 1927 is located in the blooming heart of the dune and bulb region. Quietly located on the waterway "Trekvaart Haarlem-Leiden" and on the edge of the Amsterdam Waterleidingduinen. You can park for free in front of the door. Keukenhof is 15 minutes by bike, Haarlem 25 minutes by bike and Circuit Zandvoort 30 minutes. The station (to Haarlem, Amsterdam, Leiden and The Hague) is a 5-minute bike ride away. There are shops and good restaurants nearby. The space The bulb barn is about 180 m2 in size. The ground floor has a spacious hall with toilet, a large living area with fully equipped kitchen, a sitting area, a dining area, a bar table, a library and a piano. Through French doors, you can access a nice garden (c. 100 m2) on the southeast. Here is a large outdoor table with BBQ, a lounge area and an egg chair. The upper floor has 2 very spacious bedrooms, both of which have a comfortable bed of 180 x 200 cm, a clothes rack and an armchair. There is a sitting area with an electric fireplace and a writing table that has beautiful views of the water and the Amsterdam Waterleidingduinen. Furthermore, on this floor there is a spacious bathroom that has a double sink, a shower of 120x90, a closet with towels and a closet with a washing machine and a dryer. There is also a separate toilet on this floor. At the front, there is plenty of space for parking on private property and to enjoy the evening sun. This side is located on the west, so you can gaze over the bulb fields in the evening hours until sunset. You have the entire accommodation and garden to yourself. Please note: there are no stair gates or cots available. Children are welcome, but the property is not designed for (very) young children.
