The space Discover two charming yet luxurious accommodations nestled within six private acres of the Surrey Hills — The Potting Shed and The Barn. Each is self-contained, offering its own sense of privacy and tranquillity within the same idyllic countryside setting. The Potting Shed is a beautiful blend of rustic charm and contemporary comfort — a true countryside hideaway. Compact and thoughtfully designed, it features a main bedroom with an exceptionally comfortable double bed and a cosy open-plan lounge area complete with a small dining nook and a decorative faux fireplace. It’s the perfect retreat for two — intimate, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. Your private bathroom is just next door, featuring a striking floor-to-ceiling mirror and a luxurious freestanding bathtub for two. A mini fridge is provided in the main area, along with complimentary tea, coffee, and The Ruby Supper Club’s signature cookies. For an indulgent touch, enjoy room service from The Ruby Supper Club, available by pre-order at least 48 hours in advance. Once booked, a menu can be sent directly to your phone — dishes change regularly to reflect the seasons. Dine in your private Kitchen Garden area, in the comfort of your room, or beneath the trees at one of the garden’s designated tables. There are no cooking facilities (including no microwave) within the accommodation. With countryside walks on your doorstep and every detail designed for relaxation, The Potting Shed offers a cosy, romantic escape in the heart of the Surrey Hills. Guest access Less than an hour away from London set in the Surrey Hills; English countryside at its best, perfect for country walkers, cyclists (Olympic cycle route) nature lovers, or a romantic getaway. Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). This idyllic peaceful Potting Shed is set within six acres of private land behind wooden gates. It’s separate from the main house, so guests have total privacy. The Potting Shed is accessed via a stepping stone path, with views across the east facing fields, perfect for uninterrupted sunrise viewing. Bookings can be made for a private sunrise champagne breakfast out in the paddock. Room service and alfresco dining can be ordered; breakfast, lunch, evening meals and picnics (menus available once booked) Please note that all meals are on 48 hours pre book and some menus like Champagne Breakfast and Afternoon Tea, Picnic etc are 1 week in advance - please check availability. Other things to note We are just 8 minutes drive from Denbies Vineyard. GETTING ABOUT/ GETTING HERE It is strongly advised that you have use of a car/bike, unless you are comfortable with walking. We are in a rural area - an area of outstanding natural beauty. Closest transport Dorking Main and Dorking Deepdene. Or Holmwood. Stations. 8/10 minutes drive. - 40- 50 mins walk to Dorking. THERE IS A TAXI RANK AT DORKING MAIN STATION. There is no Uber service or Deliveroo in this area. There are plenty of restaurants and bars in Dorking just 8-10 minutes drive away. (As per my Guidebook on the Listing. PARKING You need to book your parking space for one car. If you have two cars you will need to see if there is availability. Likewise if you have a van/camper van etc you will have to check if there is space. All vehicles are parked are at the owners risk. Of course you could just base yourself here and enjoy all the walks right on your doorstep and use the Room Service. ROOM SERVICE by THE RUBY SUPPER CLUB (a pop up supper club) Indulge in room service or alfresco dining with breakfast and dinner from the award-winning Ruby Supper Club. After booking, request a menu. Special menus, including Champagne Breakfast, Picnic (seasonal) and Late Arrival options, are also available but require a longer lead time. Please place all standard orders at least 48 hours in advance of your arrival date. Savor alfresco dining in any of the designated areas on the grounds, weather permitting, or have your meal delivered directly to your room. ALL BOOKINGS ARE AT LEAST 48 hours in advance of your stay. Please note that The Ruby Supper Club may not always be open, especially around Bank Holidays. Be sure to inquire in advance. RELAX WITH AN IN-ROOM MASSAGE We’re delighted to offer in-room massage treatments in partnership with Emeline, a highly skilled therapist. Unwind in the comfort of your accommodation with a tailored massage experience, perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. All treatments must be pre-booked to ensure availability. Contact us for details and to arrange your session. NO SMOKING The Potting Shed is strictly no smoking/vaping/tobacco/any other substances, inside and outside within the confines of the property. In the summer months June - September the whole area is strictly non smoking inside and outside -due to the extremely dry fields and farms. Protecting against field fires. STRICTLY NO CANDLES OR NAKED FLAMES Inside or outside the property. This includes incense sticks! And smoking of anything. NO SHOE POLICY. Please remove shoes at the door. Keep on the door mat. THE MINI FRIDGE is on request as some guests prefer not to have this in the room. Please let me know as soon as possible if you require the refrigerator in the room for your stay. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM EATING AND DRINKING IN BED. Any spills on the bed linen will incur a charge for cleaning or replacement. WANT A LATER CHECKOUT?
