This waterfront modern farmhouse on the edge of a farm field is a peaceful retreat for up to 25 guests. Located on a point of land on the Wye River, the home features water views from every room. Guests will reconnect with nature and appreciate the design of this beautiful home, which was built to mimic a traditional farmhouse and several barns connected by glass hallways. The space The home was designed to sleep up to 25 people without feeling crowded and giving multiple families privacy within the space. The central part of the ground floor contains the living room with tv, and the best room of the house - the double kitchen - two full kitchens in one space with a cozy seating area in between. There are four ovens, two refrigerators, two freezers, two stoves, two microwaves, ample counter space, and everything a chef might need. Guests can choose to eat at two dining tables in the kitchen, or in the adjacent dining room. This part of the home also has two half bathrooms, and two large walk-in pantries. The west end of the home features a three car garage, mudroom, laundry room, and the master wing. Guests will find a large master suite with floor to ceiling windows (with electric black out shades), separate seating area, a bathroom with private toilet room, two sinks, a double shower, and two walk in closets. The master wing has a second bedroom with a double over double bunk bed, and a private bathroom. This section of the home also contains a kitchenette. The east end of the home features a mudroom, and two king bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom and one with a bathroom in the hall. Just down the stairs, guests will find two bunk rooms connected by a large bathroom. Each bunk room has four twin beds. This lower level also contains the second laundry room as well as a playroom with tv. Off the central area, there is an upper level with three king bed suites, all with en-suite bathrooms. One of the rooms also has a twin bed, and another room has a balcony. Next to the living room, there is an additional room that can be used as a yoga studio (many mats included) or a bedroom. There is a king sized murphy bed with plush mattress that can be pulled down. This space has a private full bathroom. Outside of the kitchen is a large patio and pool. Guests will find lounge chairs and two dining tables. Adjacent to the patio is an indoor/outdoor space with accordion glass doors. Within this space is a hot tub, small pool, full bathroom, and lounge furniture. The entire house is surrounded by sprawling lawns, and there is a wooded point to explore. Guests can enjoy a large dock. Other things to note Guests may request early check-in and late check-out and will be considered depending on booking turnover. No fires in any of the indoor fireplaces. Fires in the outdoor fire pit are permitted. Unfortunately we do not allow weddings or events larger than 30 guests, including guests staying at the house.
