Experience seaside bliss at our charming Guesthouse on the Jurassic Coast. Dive into ocean sports or hike the scenic walking trails, visit friends and family or explore the local history, then unwind in one of our six ensuite bedrooms. The space Welcome to our charming guesthouse, where hospitality meets community spirit, nestled near the captivating Jurassic Coast and just a stones throw from the famous Chesil Beach. Our guesthouse is a 6 bedroom townhouse, located in the centre of Fortuneswell. All 6 bedrooms have their own ensuites, as well as tea and coffee making facilities. We have a large dining room and kitchen, making hosting meals for friends and family effortless. We have plenty of crockery and cutlery for you and your guests and also Linen, towels and soaps are all provided. The property is predominantly used as a Bed & Breakfast, but for our larger groups we can offer the entire property as a private rental. You'll have the privacy and freedom you and your guests need to enjoy your visit to the island in a home-from-home. You will be greeted by a member of staff at check-in, but after that you're left to your own devices! Free to explore, unwind and relax. We have a beautiful balcony terrace, as seen in the photos, which is a wonderful spot to spend time with the family and take in the views of Portland and the Jurassic coast. The same views are enjoyed from our dining room, which has plenty of space for you to enjoy group meals. The fully stocked kitchen allows for ease of preparing and catering meals, with two large fridge freezers and plenty of storage, and there are also a plethora of wonderful takeaways and restaurants nearby for you to choose from, not to mention many pubs within walking distance! Portland has very reliable public transport, so getting here is nice and simple, and for those of you travelling by car we also have a private parking space at the rear of the property, and the car park at the end of the road (less than a minute walk away) offers free parking for up to 72 hours. When renting the entire property pets and children are more than welcome, though please read our descriptions and look at the photos thoroughly to be sure the property is suitable for your needs. We generally have a 2 night minimum stay, due to the size and time it takes to prepare the property, but if you are interested in a 1 night stay please do get in touch. Rental of this property includes private use of the 6 ensuite bedrooms, the kitchen, dining room, a utility room (with a washer, dryer and a downstairs toilet) and also the parking at the rear. Please note that we are spread over many level and have no lift, so climbing of stairs is essential. Please also note that "Room 4" is typically set up as a single room, though it does have a trundle bed that can be set up. please let us know if the extra bed is required. Guest access The entire property is yours, though we operate usually as a B&B, when you book the entire place with us we will hand you the keys and clear off! There will always be someone nearby to help should you have any questions or queries, but otherwise the full property (including bedrooms, dining room, kitchen, balcony and utility room) are all yours.
