Welcome to the "House of the Mountain", our paradise! A renovated house for those seeking an unforgettable stay in beautiful Ano Konitsa. Unparalleled views from every window and balcony.... On the back of the house lies the fir forest and in front, the plain of the Aoos River. Enjoy your breakfast outside or relax with a glass of wine under the stars at night with the outdoor fireplace as your companion. Our house is ideal for those seeking peace and beauty. The space The house can accommodate 8 guests. *Outdoor area* There is an outdoor staircase and then a large outdoor space (50sqm) before entering the house. *Hallway* Here is a landscaped area with arched wooden windows where you can leave your jackets and shoes, your equipment, umbrellas and anything else you want to enjoy a cleaner and more well-kept interior. *Living-Dining Room* In the living room there is a comfortable three-seater sofa with feather pillows, which easily converts into a king size bed with a regular mattress, to enjoy the 55-inch TV with Netflix and unlimited Internet. The dining room can comfortably accommodate 6 people. A small library with a variety of books can keep you company during the hours you want to relax. The living room has a balcony door that leads you to the large lower balcony. *Kitchen* Our fully equipped kitchen includes a kettle, Nespresso machine, toaster, stove with oven, microwave, dishwasher, blender, fridge with freezer, pans, pots, water and wine glasses as well as plastic tableware for our little guests, spices, oil, balsamic vinegar and anything else you may need for your breakfast or lunch. The kitchen is particularly bright as it has a large window overlooking the snowy peaks of "Gamila" - the mountain range of Tymfi - where it overlooks from east to west and from the balcony door it has access to the large lower balcony. *Lower Terrace-patio* Enjoy comfort in the 40 sqm veranda with railings all around. Here you will find our wooden outdoor dining room with a capacity of 10 people, a large umbrella and a sun lounger. It's great to enjoy your breakfast or lunch, with nature touching all your senses! *Bedroom 1 ground floor* An elaborate king size bed (200x160) with a comfortable nice mattress and soft pillows. This room is in shades of off-white that contribute to the relaxation of the mind. You will find a wardrobe and a chest of drawers with a large mirror and 2 nightstands so you can comfortably arrange your things. From your window, especially in spring, you will be able to see the butterflies playing in the Lavender that is right across from it! *Staircase* Going up the wooden staircase with the wide steps, we reach the upper floor where we meet the 2 bedrooms and the second bathroom... *Bedroom 2 upstairs* In natural wood colors giving a warmth to the space in combination with the fur carpets. The bed is double (150x200) with a very comfortable mattress. A large wardrobe, which also has an internal shelf, the external drawer and the two nightstands are at your disposal to make you feel at home. There's a 45-inch TV. The room has a window overlooking the entire fir forest and the peaks of Tymfi, but it also has access from the balcony door to the large upper terrace-patio, which is covered with a roof, enjoying the endless view of the plain of the Aoos river, giving the visitor images and alternating landscapes. There is also the outdoor fireplace with an auxiliary table and comfortable chairs, which on cold days are "dressed" with furs and blankets to enjoy the view with your coffee, a hot drink or a glass of wine... *Bedroom 3 upstairs* The room is across from room two. And here the style of the room follows the naturalness of wood with two single beds (90x200) with very comfortable mattresses. The room also has a window and a balcony door that gives it access to the upper large terrace with panoramic views.... Here there are also some children's books, board games, toys as well as a sleeping projector for our favorite little guests! * All bedrooms are high-ceilinged with a sloping roof, following the architecture of the building. * The duvets are high quality feather as well as all the bedding and pillows to have an enjoyable sleeping experience. * There is a special "book" which upon your arrival will give you information about our place, places to see, where to eat, etc. *A few words about Konitsa* Konitsa is about 50 minutes from Ioannina and is the ideal destination to become your base, so you can tour the beauties of the surrounding areas (Zagorochoria, rivers, gorges, etc.) With very easy access from the main road, without any particular turns and tiring route. There are pharmacies, a medical center, supermarkets, bakeries, coffee shops, bars, kiosks, restaurants... Sunday Mass is held in Agios Nikolaos - the old Metropolis - just before the house. *Other things you need to know* As our obligation to the government, we have to add 10 euros to the price of our home per day for the payment of the climate change tax. All areas in the house have fast 50Mbps internet. The outdoor areas are monitored by a closed circuit television. Tap water in the area is potable, but contains higher levels of calcium than usual. It is at the discretion of the guests, therefore, whether they should include bottled water in their shopping list.
