At the beginning of Via Alessi, located in the heart of the historic center, the apartment is on the 1st floor of a historic building located in one of the most characteristic streets, named after the famous Perugian architect Galeazzo Alessi. It overlooks one of the city's main squares, Piazza Matteotti, in the historic center. The house offers a romantic, intimate and elegant environment, welcoming for couples and/or a child. The space The apartment has been recently renovated, the building is located near extraordinary artistic and architectural works of the city, university faculties, the Palace of Justice, the Hall of Notaries, venue for conferences and the cathedral. Leaving the door you will find next to an art gallery, an interior designer studio, the first laboratory of the Perugina of 1907 called LAB where the chocolate "Bacio" was born, today home to chocolate-themed events and a few steps away there is the Chocolate Museum. There is a wine shop, a pizzeria, as well as food, ice cream parlors and characteristic shops under the house. The apartment is cozy and comfortable during cold periods, cool in summer as it is set between Etruscan walls. It is not equipped with air conditioning, it has a retractable ceiling fan. If necessary, a sofa bed is available at a modest additional cost for bed linen and towel sets. From January 1, 2025, the Accommodation Tax is to be paid on site and is collected by the Host from the Guest and then paid to the local authority, the Municipality of Perugia. It applies to every Guest from the age of 14, from the first to the seventh day of the stay and amounts to €1.50 per person. Other things to note For guests arriving by car, the "Parcheggio Saba del Mercato Coperto" is 100 meters from the apartment, with a paid hourly rate open 24 hours a day, recommended for short stays (information on the SABA website). A little further away, 400 meters away, there is the "Saba Ripa di Meana Parking" connected to Piazza Matteotti via escalators and elevators following the signs for the "Pincetto" Minimetrò station. It has an hourly rate of €1.90 and a daily rate of €22. Available 800 meters away is the "Saba Partigiani Parking" for a fee, open 24 hours a day, also with daily rates. For long stays, there is always free parking at "Pian di Massiano Parking" connected to the Minimetrò Terminal, which in 13 minutes arrives in the city center (Pincetto Terminal stop) and Piazza Matteotti (information on the minimetrospa website). The streets and squares adjacent to the apartment have parking with blue stripes with a daily hourly rate payable with Telepass, MooneyGo app and cash/cards. From Perugia airport, connections with Bus Airlink to Perugia central train station (information on the fsbusitalia website) and then connected with Minimetro stop.
