Description

The Gîte Van G offers the "la compta" space, an atypical NON-SMOKING furnished accommodation of about 41 m2 on one level. It has free private parking. The accommodation was created in a former office building (accounting department). With its double bed and sofa bed, the space can accommodate 2 or even 3 people. It is ideal for a couple with a child, or for two people, each wanting a bed. For a larger group, see my 2nd accommodation. The space ACCOMMODATION CAPACITY The non-smoking accommodation offers 2 beds: 1 double bed (160 X 200) and 1 sofa bed. It can comfortably accommodate 1 to 3 people: 1 single person, 1 couple with child or 2 colleagues not wishing to share the same bed. FOR A LARGER GROUP, SEE MY SECOND ACCOMMODATION. LOCATION Ideally located in the Hauts-de-France, 85 km from the gates of Paris and 3/4 hour from Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport, the "la compta" space was built at the end of the 80s in a small preserved village between Soissons and Compiègne, set back from the street, a stone's throw from the river. Pierrefonds is 20 minutes away by car and Reims is about 50 minutes away. Laon is less than 45 minutes away, and Chantilly and Parc Astérix are less than an hour away. Disneyland Paris is less than 1 hour 30 minutes away. Vic-sur-Aisne and its dungeon, finally, are 3.5 km from the cottage. DESCRIPTION OF THE LIVING ROOM The living room is a living room – kitchen of about 28 m2. It is equipped with a sofa bed, coffee table, very large wardrobe and extendable table with 4 chairs. It has a new 4K QLED big screen TV by HISENSE. A large bay window overlooks a courtyard, vegetated on the outskirts of the accommodation. Thermal insulating curtains have been installed to preserve heat in winter and coolness in summer. The kitchen is equipped with: dishwasher, induction stove, range hood, oven, fridge, microwave, two coffee makers (1 filter coffee maker and 1 NESPRESSO) and a kettle. The kitchen is also equipped with pans, bowls, cutlery, bowls, mugs, plates and soup plates, kitchen utensils, glasses, wine glasses, beer glasses, etc. DESCRIPTION OF THE LIVING ROOM AND BATHROOM The bedroom has an area of approximately 10 m2. A double bed (160 x 200) is installed, as well as a secretary and a bench with a trunk seat. On one side of the bed, there is a nightstand with a lamp. In the bathroom: shower, sink, toilet and ventilation by VMC. OTHER AMENITIES The most powerful 6E WIFI (FREEBOX DELTA) has been installed and is accessible throughout the cottage. All windows and windows (double glazing) are fitted with thermal insulating curtains. The equipment, showers, toilets, sinks, sink, curtains, sofas, bedding and linens (duvets, pillows, sheets, pillowcases) are new. Bed linen and bath towels are provided. There is a pillow and duvet for the bed (second pillow on request), and a pillow and duvet for the sofa bed. The accommodation is equipped with 3 radiators powered by central heating. To keep guests safe, the place is equipped with a fire extinguisher, fire blanket, and one smoke detector per room, installed in May 2024. The "accounting" space was completely converted, renovated and insulated in March 2024. Furniture and colors have been carefully chosen. New materials are combined with stylish, family and also antique furniture and decorations. The amenities have been designed to provide a pleasant and comfortable stay. The neighborhood is quiet and intended to remain so; parties are not allowed. Guest access When entering the property, guests can park their vehicle for free in the parking lot on the right as they arrive. Of course, you must not park in front of the garage doors, nor in the middle of the yard. The access door to the cottage is located on the courtyard side, on the left as you enter, next to the garage door. The key is in a key box, the code for which is communicated the day before guests arrive. Other things to note Some exterior finishing work will be carried out by the end of April 2024. In particular: vegetation.
