Ty Melin

Tucked away in North Gower lies a small but cozy holiday home, perfect for a quiet getaway. Situated in the historic village of Penclawdd there is easy access to the beaches and hills of Gower, a favorite of surfers, cyclists, hikers, and those who love to explore the countryside. The space The house is part of a small terrace which was built to house mill workers around the turn of the last century. 'Ty Melin' means 'Mill House'. It has gas central heating and additionally a wood burning stove with an initial supply of fuel. There is a TV with a Bluetooth equipped soundbar to which you can stream your own music etc. and Wifi is provided. The kitchen is equipped with a washing machine, fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee maker (with an initial supply of pods). There are two bedrooms, both of which have double beds. The Cottage is situated in a quiet location with free off-street parking for one car. Additionally there is usually on street parking available nearby. It's a five minute walk from the center of the village where you can find CK's supermarket where all the essentials are stocked, the popular Cariad cafe, GG's Ice cream parlour, The Estuary Bar, Paprika Indian Takeaway and Sunset Ocean Designs, among others. Amenities include a Post Office, Hairdressers, Chemist, Doctors Surgery, Dentist, and a Playground. We happily welcome one well behaved dog to our place but it does incur an extra cleaning cost. To ensure the comfort of all our guests, we kindly request that dogs remain downstairs during their stay. Guest access Access is via a key-safe which allows arrival at any time after 3pm, which gives us enough time for cleaning etc. Vacation by 10am please. Please note that the stairs in this property are somewhat steeper than standard stairs.
