Stunning, renovated & open plan suite, East Meon.

Yew Tree House was built in about 1750 and has been lovingly restored, with a brand new renovation of the top floor, which is exclusively for your use. The top floor now has a stunning bedroom which can be made up either as a double (super king bed) or as a twin room. The stylish bathroom, with a luxurious power shower, is open-sided and set within the main room. The bedroom window looks towards the south downs and the front window (landing), looks over the high street and River Meon. The space The house is in the heart of the ancient village of East Meon, set on the old village high street, with the River Meon babbling past just in front. The village is just off the South Downs way, so is ideally situated for walkers and is also a very romantic location for couples. The village has two great pubs, both of which serve good food, as well as a shop, all within 300 metres of our house. The next village, West Meon, also has a well renowned pub/restaurant, The Thomas Lord, about 5 minute's drive along the valley. Free parking is available anywhere in the village. We have recently finished renovating the entire house, half of which was built in about 1750, the other half in about 1850. The top floor (from the older side of the house) has been converted into a fantastic guest bedroom/bathroom suite, tastefully decorated in Charlotte Gaisford wallpaper, Blithfield fabrics and White Company bedding. Guests will have this floor to themselves, which consists of a landing, bedroom and open plan bathroom. The bedroom/bathroom door is lockable and the room has a very private feel. Guest access The whole of the top floor bedroom/bathroom is for guest's exclusive use. Guests will have access through the front door, through the main house to their room. During your stay Freddy (my wife) and I will be present to welcome guests and we are available in the main house in case of need.
